Which one do you prefer, and which is possible to squat more weight with?

I wrap on my own because I either train alone, or with people who don't know how to wrap. I don't find it a big deal, and don't find it takes much out of my hands really. YMMV. If guys like Ed Coan and Dan Green can wrap themselves at meets I think we ought to be able to if we don't have someone else.

I've always wrapped my own in training so I also wrap my own at meets. It takes a bit out of me when I'm really trying to crank them tight but I wouldn't trust anyone else with it.

My wife wraps mine for anything over about 6 plates. Or less for reps. She does a better wrap (especially more consistently) than any of the dudes I've ever trained with. She's the only one I really trust with it. That and I can't really wrap my own knees because I can't reach them with my leg straight anyway.. mobility problems.
