If he was a paper tiger, he would've folded when Mickey had him on the ground in the first round. You can't pimp up Mickey and then **** all over Sage, because Sage is the best opponent that Mickey's fought so far.

Sage is young, inexperienced, and raw on the ground. He clearly has the striking pedigree and is super athletic.. guys like him don't come around often as they have ridiculous potential.

I agree with you for the most part, I really want Sage to be good. He is very marketable and good for the sport. He is a freak athlete and I am definitely not writing him off just saying he does not look to have the natural fighter instinct. I was not really trying to pimp Mickey as the next great fighter but he is less experienced than Sage and just but beat a highly touted Striker by dropping him on the feet and taking advantage to secure the submission.

He should have stayed at Tristar, but he may be coddled and doesn't know what it's like to leave home.

This is exactly my point. He seems to be a guy that has had life on easy mode and doesn't want to leave that safe bubble so when he gets in the cage and gets his bubble popped by a solid punch he gives up and wants to get back to his safe zone rather than embrace the pain and danger and use that to fight back even harder. He needs to get out and train with guys better, tougher, more experienced than him that will push him into situations he doesn't want to be in so when it happens in the cage he will be used to it.

Him and Paige both need to dump their current camps, and find something better. It looks like they've hit a plateau at their current camps, and don't realize it. Perry will probably go through his career as a brawler, and retire without getting near any belts in the UFC.
