By February 2004 I want to have gained at least 10-15lbs of muscle mass. How logical is this goal. I currently weigh 170lbs and I am 5'11". What do I need to do in order to reach this goal?
I am in a bulking phase right now and this is what my split looks like:
Sunday-Chest
Monday-Back,Abs
Tuesday-Off
Wednesday-Shoulders,Traps
Thursday-Legs
Friday-Arms
Saturday-Rest
I am doing 4-6 reps per set. The total amount of sets vary on the muscle group and I try to do about 5 different free weight exercises.

wow you work out almost all week, that's crazy, me I work out only
monday:chest as hard as I can
tuesday:shoulders as hard too
wednsday running as long as I can
thursday running
friday everything with my arms, really heavy.
and week end I just relax and run 4 hours before I go to bed.
and when I work out I do 4 sets of 8 to 6 if it's really heavy, and 4 set of 10 if I don't feel to good.
I think your goal is good.

aside from my routine what else should i do....
my supplements are:
-Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein
-Prolab Creatine Monohydrate
-Chef Jays Protein Bars
-Multivitamins
I drink a gallon of water a day and I am trying to eat about 6 meals a day. I feel as though my diet is what may be hurting me.
I am getting a little over 1g of protein per pound. I am getting 92g of protein just from the shakes (pre/post workout) plus another 30g from the protein bar. I do not know how to calculate my protein intake from my meals.

here's what works for me right now. But remember don't do it unless someone that is more use to it tell u it's good. I eat rice and meat, fish or anything with protein, I only eat 3 times a day. The 6 times a day doesn't work for me I didn't gain much, Now I lose fat and gain muscle and strengh. In the morning I eat total cereal and eggs and that's it. I eat more meat than rice so I can lose weight.
