As long as you are eating correctly, taking two days off is not going to hurt you.

No problem, Ingrid. Judging by your pic, you are obviously doing okay.

I recomend you do take at least 2 days off. Taking Sat and Sun off will help you recover and be more productive the other days.

I would like to come right out and say that I too take two days off. Saturday and sunday are family days, and absolutely crucial for those lesser known aspects of life such as "social" and "fun." Gotta stay at least two dimensional!

I agree. Hell, I am on a 4-day program and miss the extra day off that the 5x5 gave me. I love lifting more than almost everything else, but there are other things to take care of as well.

I just backed off of my 5 day a week program. I'm resting, but will likely pick it up again late in the spring. I actually get twitchy having so many days off, but the wife has been pretty firm about my workouts not getting in the way of family time. What can I say? The skirt is mightier than the pants in my home.
