There is a politician from my part of the world that documented his return to the concentration camp Belsen 50 years after he and his company liberated it and it was very moving - the episode is not available online or I would post it. It was mostly moving because this was a man now in his 70s, recalling a time in his youth when he marched with the allies as a force of liberation. It was especially sad when he gave a salute to the memorial, no dramatics, no 'oorraaa'ing'... just quiet sad reflection from an tearful old worn out man coming to the end of his own life and reflecting on the demise of others that continued to haunt him 50 years later.

So some bad things happened there. I have a point to make, and it is that there were worse massacres before, and after the holocaust and yet nobody mentions them hardly, it's always what the evil Germans did. It is however, the only time in recent history where a WHITE majority nearly wiped out a racial MINORITY.

About the German people. If you want to talk about people done wrong, just look at how they were done after WWI. Who was the real evil. Also, the allied governments made the Germans so they would not speak their minds, they went with what they were told. So when Hitler came to power, they followed him. They were not evil, they were people trying to survive. They were true victims, talk about discriminated and disenfranchised.

The Jews weren't that nice. They flooded Germany after WWI to take advantage of the conditions of the Treaty of Versides and did quite well, while most of the Germans suffered. They, like they do now, have a control over banking, the government, and the media. Oh, and the Jews are huge proponents of Communism, and were trying to get it installed in Germany with the USSR. I think that was what put the match to the gas in the ovens.

The Nazis did not see Jews as a religious entity, but rather as a separate, biological race. They saw that the leaders of these movements were mainly Jews and by considering Marxism/Communism etc. a danger to the German people the logical conclusion was to consider Jews an enemy.

I am in understanding of the biological race aspect. More so the relevance of Bolshevism with Judaism? If we read Mein Kampf as a historical narrative, there would be a case to be made of part of the origins of Hitler's angst towards Bolshevism/Judaism together as an enemy of the state. As reading the book as only a tool for propaganda, I don't see the link between the Bolshevik revolutions and Judaism. Judaism and Bolshevism, in the context of Bolshevism as started by factions of Marxists... I guess I am not convinced on the idea of Judeo-Bolshevism.

I don't want to really go into this much but I actually studied the holocaust in college and had the opportunity to interview a couple of people who were there. When I was watching the first video it was clear that they were eluding to the idea that certain horrible things didn't actually happen in the concentration camps - like killing Jews and then using their skin and body parts to make items. I can assure you, that stuff absolutely happened. So, right away the video came off either too biased or too poorly researched. As for the number of victims, I have heard many numbers get thrown around and don't have an answer. But as far as the conditions of the camps - they were just as horrible as anything you could imagine.
