Hey Packer bros, long time no post been lurking mostly these past two years, well you can see from my post history I rarely post at all anywhere on this site for the past few years. Anyways another tough season, McCarthy has been fired perhaps a couple of years too late. I hope the incoming HC decides on his own that he wants to keep and work Pettine, the D is vastly improved and has performed decently enough to win games and keep the team in games after numerous three and outs by the offense. Number two I hope we don't hire Arians or McDaniels. I have no idea who could come in and make this offense great again, but we do have a head start on other teams for now and it is a job people will want. GO PACK GO

Arians basically said he'd only want to coach the Browns. Don't want him anyways.

Simply don't understand the steam behind Flip. Guy is run-abandoning McCarthy clone. Leaning toward him not coming back unless something significantly changes w/him in the last four games (doubt it).

I don't think a Harbaugh and AR would work. Harbaugh regimes are full-fledge dictatorships.......

Yup his play-calling has been complete ass this season. Not sure why he is even being talked about for HC jobs, living off that Eagles SB hype.

I find it highly unlikely he'd get the job. Especially since the Vikings still might not even make the playoffs

Which is why I said wait and see how these last 4 games go, cuz the bum very likely shouldn't even have a job as an OC here anymore (let alone as an HC some place else) depending on how rotten things go.......

Sorry to intrude into cheesehead land but....for the rest of the season, do you see Rogers calling most of the plays from the qb spot or will they still come from the sidelines? I have Aaron Jones in my fantasy league and I'm hoping the new regime will utilize his talents unlike McCarthy did.

I do think Rogers will most likely be acting as an on field OC for the rest of the year. He also loves Jones so he will be giving him opportunities early and as long as the game is still close or if GB has the lead. If GB gets behind by 2 or more scores though I fully expect the run to be abandoned as Rogers will think (correctly) that their best chance of winning is him throwing. So for fantasy terms I think Jones will see more usage and should be a safe play ROS.

They muzzled Winston Moss at the beginning of training camp, so not entirely surprised at his tirade.

I'm very curious how the rest of the season is going to turn out for the Pack offensively tho. If Rodgers comes back and lights it up, does that make MM look bad or does it kinda feed into the conspiracy that Rodgers was playing poor for his standards to get MM fired.

Hard to say. I think the advantage lies within Philbin and Rodgers having more "this works, this doesn't" time than Rodgers and McCarthy. Would sure expect to see him get more carries. Pretty pathetic when the guy is clearly talented but gets 12~ carries a game.

The way I see it if the head coach gets the ax, he was to follow. Him going on a Twitter rant pretty much sealed the deal.

Moss was just butt hurt he didn't get the job over Philbin. I think all those head coach interviews over the years got to his head. Shame we couldn't keep him around a while longer to fulfil the Rooney rule.

Oh also our LBs have sucked the last 3+ years!

Anyone else see that Falcons safety throw a punch at a Packers offensive lineman? This was already after the clown just got on another guys back and tried twisting his helmet. How that douchebag does not get ejected for that when players have been for far less.

We're thinking of trading up as far as we can to get a QB that can consistently go for 110 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs. Any suggestions?

With McCarthy out, the pass-pass-pass remained and might have been worse in the beginning.

Rodgers grinding the play clock to zero and then blowing all their timeouts early was gone. I am guessing Rodgers is basically running the offense since communication greatly improved in one game.

I don't think Aaron Jones even got a carry until the 2nd quarter iirc. If there's one thing we need to do with the remaining games it's giving that man 25+ carries to see how much work load he can handle.

Speaking of Cleveland, I hope McCarthy takes Kizer back there in the offseason. What a terrible signing.

I'd rather see Tim Boyle play the rest of the season if Rodgers sits out.

Packers drafted Rodgers when Favre was 35. Same age as Aaron right now. Maybe they draft somebody this year if a good prospect falls in a similar way as AR did...

I don't think Rodgers could even save him after the year he's had. Especially with so many young WR's showing promise this year. But, he'll probably go to the Patriots or some **** and not miss a single game next year.

lost 4 spots in the draft because of it. hopefully they let Kizer play or something next week so we can get a few of those spots back.

Can only imagine they're about giving tickets away for this coming week.
