Huge mistake letting Jared Cook go, he turned into a big asset after leaving. Thought it was a foregone conclusion that we would extend him. Instead we got 2 straight high pay tight end busts.

I saw a rumor there was potential of him coming back.

That being said, a random article about a news paper writer talking about Jimmy G being cut is about as far from conrete as it gets. At this point it's not worth the dead cap to cut him. If we wait until June and cut Perry his 11.5 mil dead cap turns into 3.5 mil. Now that I'm willing to do.

Pretty much just sums up how much of a failure Teds last few years were. Pretty bad when you fail an entire draft.

I'll always appreciate what they both did for us. That forced fumble by Matthews in the SB... then Cobb vs the Bears.

I can't believe they even offered clay that much. and rumor has it he was offered more to go elsewhere (guessing Miami or Jets)

Matthews will be solid with that defense I think. Glad the packers let him and Cobb go though. Hopefully Amos can be good without the rest of the bears defense surrounding him. I am not sure the money part is great, but I like the signing.

Too bad Clay has lost all of his speed/agility. An avg blocking RB can contain him easy enough.

$9.25 a year is a steal for a legit starting S. Did you not see how much others are getting paid this offseason...?

Or Perhaps he's a reason the Bears defense didn't give up the big plays.

I'll take him for $9.25 over HaHa for $3.5 any day. A guy can only watch his safety get burned so many times. Speaking of... LOL at the Bucs picking up Kentrell Brice. Hopefully it was for a loaf of bread and a high five.

Steelers released Morgan Burnett. That didn't last long. How many times does someone from Green Bay leave and tear it up elsewhere? A rare thing to see and speaks volumes at the "talent" that was brought in by GM TT before he was given the ax.

If I had to guess, DT/WR in 1st. But there's a ton of talent at edge so who knows. We're hurting at ILB now, but if Devin White is gone I'd rather go elsewhere

I'm on the Hockenson bandwagon but I'd be extremely surprised if he was still there at 12 tbh. I'm basically hoping for EdOliver @12/AJ Brown@30

You aren't moving him unless you still end up paying the majority of that ridiculous salary for the year. He still is the highest paid TE in the league right now. Mind blowing, given what the guy is and will be from here on out......

Gut feeling tells me Hock falls to #12. I think he'll be a great NFL player, but I couldn't see the Pack org justifying drafting a non-defensive player at that pick.

The beautiful thing is we can pick whoever is highest on our draft board at 12. I don't think it's definitively either side of the ball. I can see us getting Jawaan Taylor/Hockenson/Brian Burns/Ed Oliver/Montez Sweat/the list goes on.

@30 I fully expect a WR or S.
