I'll admit, I didnt think they could get it together in time. Rodgers and the offense is the reason, they bailed the defense out pretty much every game (except the Seattle game in which we got 6 TO's). If not for some timely turnovers in the other games, the defense still is not great. Hopefully they can continue to be opportunistic in the payoffs and make just enough stops to allow Rodgers and the boys to score more points.

Sadly very true. Rollins really took a step back this year. He gets burned way to often. I was actually happy to see Hyde at corner, he did well when we first drafted him there (before they moved him to safety). As long as Burnett and Haha stay healthy, we can afford to use Hyde at corner.

They don't let Wolf leave
Just the fact that they had to advance their timetable because so many other teams are interested shows how valuable this dude is.
They did, but other teams want Wolf before that TT's contract is up, so they have to pull the trigger soonerNever criticize someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

We have to be. We can't address our CB issue with drafting more. We already did that with Randall and Rollins and we all see how that turned out. The way it sounds, the plan is to re-sign Jared Cook too. Which I'm all for.
This draft is going to have to be defense heavy once again. With maybe a higher round RB in there pending what goes on with Eddie. I don't forsee him sticking around, but I see him going to Minnesota and gashing us twice a year or something fun like that.

I think Randall could thrive as a ball hawking saftey in this defense. Especially when you see plays like the one he made against Seattle. And I think Rollins can be a very good slot corner.
The one problem I have with our corners right now is that Gunter is the only true outside corner. Losing Shields hurts a lot because Randall and Rollins aren't very good on the outside, and now Hyde is going to have to play outside more as well. But the experience he has might be the best thing for the secondary right now.
Going up against Eli and that WR corp could be rough, but I think potato manning is going to show up and the D will make a couple big plays.

Didn't realize Dorsey's contract was up after this season in KC.
We definitely have a lot of options but unfortunately we can't keep them all. Wolf, Ball, Gutekunst, Highsmith are all internal options and then throw Dorsey into the mix. I think San Fran ends up with at least one of these guys though.
