Apparently this year's freshman class is unreal.
Duke and Kentucky obviously have their guys
Josh Jackson on Kansas
Miles Bridges is a baller on Michigan State
Markelle Fultz is supposed to be the "Ben Simmons" player-on-a-chit-team of this year -- stud top 5 pick, but plays for Washington.
Not gonna lie, I haven't been excited about college basketball since Doug McBuckets graduated from Creighton. But this year looks real promising @ CreightonDenver Broncos | Paul George | FC Barcelona | Creighton Bluejays

Stacked class. Should rival the towns kristaps class, but for PGs.
Fultz 30pts 7rebs 6asts game 1, but washington lost
Lonzo Ball in 2 games. 16pts 8.5asts 8rebs per
Tatum on duke
Josh Jackson on kansas. He was considered by scouts, the best sg prospect ever. Though playing at kansas, I doubt he does well. They say he is Wiggins with the IT factor. A little less athletic, but better ball handler.
Giles would be AD but dude is too injury prone. Knees are done before ever going pro. Sucks for him.
Miles Bridges had a great game 1 for Mich state. 6'7" SF had 21pts 7rebs
This year will be funBulls--Bears

I saw the beginning of the end when it was 73-70 because dumbfuk cucks at FS1 cut my Creighton game to the Georgetown game.
Saw the dude slip and then fukkin like 5 minutes of no actual game clock running because of officials going full potato

Jayhawks are most likely going to win it all this year. Stacked at every position. Easily the best guard play with Mason and Graham combo. Josh Jackson is going to be a stud. Carlton Bragg is ready for a breakout year. You got a guy in Svy coming off the bench who would start for almost any team in the country. Went 2 for 17 from 3 point land, Jackson and others sat a lot with foul trouble, and still beat the #1 ranked team.

As a KU fan I disagree. We do have the best back court, but Lucas has shown me nothing so far and carlton braggs defense has left something to be desired. Josh Jackson does look like he has the potential to be the best 1 and done we have ever had. My early season observation is that we lack depth as well as defensive presence inside(outside of maybe Azubuike).
It's early and all of that can change. Our rebounding reallllly needs to improve. Indiana really exploited that.
I hate Duke, but they are missing 3 all americans. Kentucky also looked very impressive. Those will be the two teams to beat

Creighton is gonna be a dark horse brahs. Objectively, I don't think they will win it bc it's tough to match up with the firepower of the Duke/Kentucky/Kansas-type teams
But, a lot of people in CBB have been saying this Creighton team could make it to the Final 4 and wreak havoc along the way, and I'm definitely seeing it after they destroyed Wisconsin last night.
This Creighton team isn't a one-man show carried by Doug McDermott and 3-pt shooting roleplayers.
Depth, athleticism, good mix of underclassmen and upperclassmen transfers, balanced shooting (3s, mid-range, and in the paint), and solid (but not great) defense.Denver Broncos | Paul George | FC Barcelona | Creighton Bluejays

It's the second game of the season. Outside of KU's offensive struggles, their defense was pretty on point. Allen just did not look comfortable. With the refs trying to single handedly keep Duke in the game, KU still managed to win that.
KU still out rebounded Duke, on top of destroyed them in second chance points.
But please spare the "they are missing 3 players". Remember they have 8 McDonald AA's? That excuse doesn't work. Then go back to my point above, KU won while playing horrible offense, 12% 3PT shooting and 47% FT shooting.
As a basketball fan, I honestly didn't enjoy too much of the game. There was no fluidity to the game whatsoever. In the second half the refs decided to get even worse, picking and choosing when to call fouls that were called fouls in the first half. Amile Jefferson probably fouled out at least 4 times in the second half before they called his 5th foul. Don't even get me started on Jackson's fouls.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As a KU fan, I can only speak to the 2 KU games I've watched. They keep saying "the rules are the same, they're just calling them now". Either way, I've never seen teams with so much foul trouble as I have in these first couple games. First game, 4 starters fouled out, the 5th had 4 fouls. Yesterday, only 1 starter fouled out but 3 others had 4 fouls. At one point last night fans were just booing the refs because they were taking over the game.

I haven't seen Nova play yet this season. Obviously I'm a very optimistic homer, but I think Creighton can at least beat Nova and Xavier at home. Our home court is top 5 srs.
Xavier hasn't looked that good tbh, and the rest of the Big East hasn't really shown me anything yet. It's Nova's and Creighton's conference this year IMO.

Bang. Another W for Creighton. Tough game, down by 11 at one point but came back to win by 9 (could have been 10 and a W on my bet if Watson didn't friggin clank a late FT)
shot 71% from 3 halfway through the 2H, ended up with 61% from 3. Unreal!Denver Broncos | Paul George | FC Barcelona | Creighton Bluejays

Appreciate your opinion...if you don't think it's not an opinion..thanks again.
Just excited for a homegrown Filipino kid playing in US NCAA D1 level..that's all. I'm just as excited as everyone following him in our country.
The thing is, I am a member of this site and have a chance to talk about him...

Don't get your expectations up.
Kobe Paras will hardly see any meaningful minutes this season. He should have just redshirted, to be honest.
Unless he can beat out 3-4 guards ahead of him, he won't be seeing the court for any decent playing time until his Jr. year.
Mo Watson is a Sr and the starting PG
Isaiah Zierden is a Sr, former starter and first guard off the bench.
Juniors:
Marcus Foster is a stud. Could test out the NBA after this season, but doubt it.
Tyler Clement walk-on backup PG. Doubt he takes on the starting role next season after Watson is gone
Kaleb Joseph Syracuse transfer. Potential starter?
So yea, Kobe Paras won't be playing anytime soon unless it's in garbage time in a 20pt blowout.Denver Broncos | Paul George | FC Barcelona | Creighton Bluejays
