Especially FSU. They forget how to play basketball when they're on the road against any competent team. I'm thinking they'll be upset in the round of 32 anyway.

FSU is the most overrated team in the ACC. Completely agree. Out of the top 6 ACC teams I see them falling first. They won't even make it to Gonzaga if that holds so not even remotely worried.

Wake has to be the team that's really kicking themselves. They've had Duke on the ropes twice, UNC by 6, fellow bubble team Xavier by 4

If they fall to sneak in pretty tough to swallow for them.

I think Wake will get in as long as they beat BC and put up a good fight against VT again.

Lose to BC and all bets are off, but they are basically Clemson 2.0 with a .500 record in the ACC and one marquee victory over Louisville. No bad losses either.

Duke hasn't been especially good on the road. I'm pretty sure their best road win was at Notre Dame. From an overall resume point of view, FSU and Duke are pretty close. Duke had a slump towards the middle of the season, FSU's came toward the end. It'll probably come down to who does better in the ACCT.

Not surprised Butler is high. They have some pretty sweet wins.

I'm looking forward to this FGCU team. Dunk City 2.0 with the potential upset as a 14/15 seed.

I feel like NCAAB gets more wide open every year come tournament time.

I remember back when looking at the #1's and 2's and thinking for sure the champ would come from one of those 8 teams. Now I can literally look all the way down to the 6 seed sometimes.

Not saying the 1's and 2's aren't the best prepared still, it's just that differential in talent has evaporated substantially over the last few years. Just look at the ACC this year for example of that. It was pretty much chaos from start to finish.

I should point out, part of the reason for that is definitely how quickly kids come and go now. There's less senior type teams with experience heading in to the tournament. That youth and inexperience creates havoc and makes even the more talented teams very susceptible.

Never know what some dumbass 18/19 year olds are gonna do.

They are athletic as hell but damn they play dumb basketball.
Would get absolutely throttled in the first round - 30 point loss to a top 3 seed.

This is a totally different team than their cinderella team.

True dat. I believe, since the implementation of the one and done rule ~10 years ago, only 2015 Duke has won a championship 'relying' on freshman. I'm a firm believer that you need senior leadership to make a deep run.

I can't get a good read on this team. The problem I can foresee for the zags is that they won't know how to play when they are behind or when it's close. Also, can they string together wins against good teams? With the exception of the 16 seed, every team the zags play in the tournament is going to be better than any team in their conference. I have no doubt they can do it in a single game, but for 6 games straight? I'm not sold.
