I order a lot of stuff online. Just the other day, the Amazon driver left a convenience store soda cup filled with urine in front of my driveway...no joke...like dead center in front of my driveway just on the street.. I'm not sure what he was trying to tell me. But he's an idiot because I'm sure they can look up the driver via the tracking # and he'll get canned.

Someone mentioned if I order an RML690, I could switch out the j-hooks for sandwich hooks for a little more, how can I do this, there isn't an option on the RML690 page?

I mentioned this previously. You have to get a custom quote to do this. It's not possible using their website. That said, they will customize anything and everything. I switched out the pin/pipe safeties for straps, pull-up bar for multi-grip, fat/skinny for nameplate, silver bolts for black zinc, etc. They only charge the differential. Since its the weekend though I don't know if you'll be able to get a quote and order with the 5 for $5 deal.

I'm almost positive this stuff is predetermined and more driven by the inventory they want to clear out (with a few deals here and there). I mean, I hope the rack becomes cheaper, but don't hold your breath.

One more thing, SomeIronBoy, after using my rack for a while now, one of the regrets that I have is that I didn't order an extra set of J-cups. First world problems, but it would be much nicer not having to move them between bench and squat setup.

Sandwich type or not, may just be worthwhile to have two. Just thought I'd mention that as it may save you a phone call and customization if you want both.

Yep. The black lb training 2.0 plates are no longer offered via hundo pricing . So I doubt they will be any more cheaper.

I am really tempted to pull the trigger on Competition bumper plates .. Very tempting plus lb change plates which are Made in USA

Not sure. I owned a Super Bench for a few minutes before selling it. It doesn't get recommended a lot here due to it's high height in the flat position.
At the same price, I'd rather have the Rep bench...but it's also like $100-$150 cheaper. That's just my opinion though.

Sucks to hear about the ups guy...it's going to be at least 1800lbs whether they are boxed individually or not. We shall see.

Ended up ordering the rogue trap bar and monster lite matador with 3 sets of .25 Lb plates to qualify for $5 shipping. Saved about a $125 when you factor in shipping and the discount on the bar.

Just look at the price differential on the website for buying sandwich and regular j cups separately.

Fwiw I did get an extra set of j cups and it definitely makes life easier. Especially without numbered holes.

Buying a rack is a pretty big deal, so if you're ready, it's exactly what you want and so on... don't dilly dally too much. It will NOT get cheaper tomorrow.

I believe you can also specify the changes/customizations you want in the notes (when checking out) and have them bill you for the difference. I would consider that, unless you like to live life dangerously!

Just ordered Rogue competition color bumpers (300lbs) plus lbs fractional plates.. Really don't need the fractional plates but they look really cool plus made in usa plus made out of armor grade steel . Cannot beat that. Will let the younger kid "play" with them when he is in a mood to lift.

I guess the revolvers have to "wait" for a while.

Couldn't wait any longer and just pulled the trigger on 550lbs of Troy Deep Dish plates from Adamant Barbell deal today. I figured this was about as extreme of a deal as I was going to find on new, very high quality plates.

Yes - they really don't do huge discounts unless the product is a flop (i.e. Mono-Stand $950->$575) or they are closing out an older version (they semi-blew out the RM 7ga racks last year).

But year after year, people expect giant discounts then post displeasure/disapproval...here's some from this year:

I pulled the trigger on the comp plates today and couldn't be more excited. I thought about the training plates, but for around $100 more, I decided to splurge. 45x8 (4 pair) and 25x2.

35s are cursed and sent up here by the devil himself...only get them if they're the same diameter and part of a colored set and it makes it look pretty...

Edit: also if you have 10s, it makes 35s pretty much useless...

I've never lifted with 35 lbs. I just use 10s where needed. I also like to use 45lbs simply because I'm used to the math, so I chose not to get any 55s.

Almost checked out my Rogue cart for $2500 but was having trouble convincing myself to do it. Then I checked the Hot Deals again and found I was only saving $60. Haha. I'll take the $60 hit in order to make sure I'm making a sound financial decision in the next few weeks. On one hand I'm glad I held back, but on the other hand I kind of wish there were deals that would push me over the edge to commit. Oh well... Rogue already got $5500 from me this past year.
