thanks for the post, tempted to order the SSB to have on hand. question though, 31 pounds for the ssb seems very light for this type of bar, any idea why that is? makes me a little uneasy about ordering

I own that same SSB, and so do several others members on these forums. My bar actually weighs around 44lbs last I checked, for the price you will not find a better SSB.

What kind of precedent or expectation is there for sales on decent garage gym level bumper plates for black friday? Something like Rogue Echo or the HG 2.0 and other companies' similar offerings...?

I don't recall rogue offering any deals on the HG or echo style bumpers other than maybe shipping deals. I do however remember the competition style bumpers were available for hundo pricing. (which knocked about $120 off a 320 lbs set + 5 for $5 shipping)Originally Posted by Farley1324

Okay...I see the 160 lb set of HG 2.0 is $275 + shipping...but if you manually add the three pairs it comes to $238.50...so almost $30 less than the set...but the shipping is more. The 160 lb set ships for just $5. So adding 5 pairs, if each of those pairs counted towards the "5 for $5" thing, that would be a pretty good deal.Originally Posted by krlafont

I checked CFFs site earlier this week. It's a little disappointing since they have the 'actual' price on the main sale page inflated to make the deals look better.Originally Posted by krlafont
