I'm curious to what you guys consider as staples in your daily routines.
For me,
1) Waking up early - Ideally I am up before 7 every day besides weekends on occasion.
2) Daily Cardio - I try to do 20-30 minutes daily. Occasionally I'll do a light day of just 15 minutes if I'm busy.
3) Napping - I take one nap a day at least. When I start to feel sluggish, I'll try to squeeze a 30 minute nap in.
I can expand on why I do these things if someone is interested.

I listen to podcasts at least every other day. Do you recommend any? I've been listening to the same 2-3 for a while (which are great), but always open to check out new ones.
Working out daily is a must for me, as well. Just knowing I got in the gym even if it is just cardio feels good and makes me feel better. Gardening is an awesome way to relax. Any pics of the garden?
That's cool that you found what works/doesn't work for you. I tend to stay up late, but my naps help me not feel to tired throughout the day.

Yeah, I grew up bullied and fairly weak. When I got into working out all of that changed and a lot of my health problems started going away too. At work, so can't post pics of the garden. It's not much...a few container fruits like satsumas, cherry, and mulberry. In ground are 2 guava's, 1 satsuma, and 2 figs. Besides those theres a smaller herb garden with jalapeno's, basil, and mint.

I feel it. I was like that for a while, but I am not naturally skinny so I had to add it. ****ty at first but don't mind it much now. Def. need music or a podcast while I do it tho!
Yeah, you really don't think about how much time you have until you wake up early. Game changer
I've started stretching occasionally in the mornings. What stretches do you normally do?

Going through a comprehensive oral routine - brush, apply baking soda, floss, mouthwash, tongue scrub. My mouth feels like a million bucks after and knowing that your breath smells great is a huge boost in confidence.
Meditation, try to do it on a daily basis but i fail more often than not, usually get 3-5 sessions a weekA.C. Milan

-various forms of what people would consider "Meditation" although this goes far beyond just sitting there crosslegged and focusing on "nothing". That is called void meditation and is just a very small facet of the overall world. Also Yoga. And also reading/learning up about "occult"/esoteric practices and such Meditation is training for your mind like physical exercise is for your body.
-Stop going hardcore in powerlifting/bodybuilding and focus more on health. Tried to cope during my post sports playing stage with powerlifting/bodybuilding, but it wasn't the same and just resulted in body dysmorphia, food obsession, injuries and other negativity. Now I just focus on being lean, good cardio, body weight stuff, and a little bit of weights here and there.
-monitoring my time management, making sure every task leads to one of my overall goals. every goal does not need to be super tryhard and thought intensive. "spending time with friends/family" can fall under one and is relative relaxing. if you try to be too productive too fast, you will burn out.
-Speaking less, body language more. one of Benjamin Franklins core life virtues was to speak only when necesarry. The biggest alphas are not the kind of people that blabber on and on about every minor thing that enters their mind. the strong silent type is a real thing. you can communicate even without words if you know how to use your eyes and your body. not to the point of autistic mime, but generally I like to say less than the person I am speaking to.
-Since lots of people mentioned waking up early, I may as well chime my two cents on the topic. I have found this to be overrated. I've always been more productive during the night hours as I'm naturally more alert then. I believe this to be the case for many individuals as well and that there's nothing wrong with it. If I wake up early, I long for a mid day nap even if I go to bed super early and hit my required hours of sleep.

I've heard a lot about the hanging from a pull up bar. Will try today.
How long do you usually meditate?
Recommend some books? Might try reading daily as well and see how it is.
Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, Stuff You Should Know, Dan Carlin are a few that I listen to.
Books? MFP is great. Def. a must if you are watching weight.
Cologne should be worn by everyone. Smelling good is underrated
Yeah early mornings aren't for everyone. Interesting point on meditation, do you meditate?

3 mile run. Srs, it's the thing that keeps my emotional wellbeing at a very high level at all times. Been doing it for 10 years, took 6 months off and started to feel depressed as ****. Just lifting doesn't seem to do it.
I also do a 1km swim on off days and that works great too, but not quite the same. I'm guessing it's because I don't have some trance to peak to, ordered a Sony underwater mp3 player and will be testing it out soon.

listening to audiobooks, subscription to audible is honestly one of best investments ever made plus there r free apps where u can listen to free public domain audiobooks like old classics etc, makes it so easy to get thru many books cuz u can listen while doing other things, started this like 3-4 years ago and got thru so many more books in that time
