Im having fun with the game. However, the holding hands and all the cut scenes are so annoying. Also the Hai guy or the so called rival is too nice and cringy... feelsbadman. This game would have been so much better without this srs.

Just wait until you beat the game lmao, there's a 20 minute cut scene that you have to sit through because the game doesn't save after you beat the champion

I really don't feel like spending the time to breed and do all that. I just wish you didn't have to do that to be on a level playing field online.

Is there any difference between hatched pokemon and pokemon you catch? Like if I catch a pokemon with the right nature, (and assuming there aren't any egg moves etc I want) I can just reset its EVs. Or do hatched pokemon have better IVs?

I hate breeding in this game it's so time consuming, it took me 30 minutes to find a special ability Pelipper with Drizzle, this Pokemon can competitively wreck teams now.

I am stuck on the elite 4. The last dude just completely wrecks my team. So i am trying to find a way to power level my new pokes. I smashed the first 4 easy but the final champ just beat me like i didnt post pics on the misc.

I picked the fire cat as my starter but ended up trading for the grass/ghost one that thing seems awesome. I hear prankster got super nerfed but i hope sableye/klefkey are still amazing.

Damn son these Z-moves look like something straight out of Dragonball Z. Having a lot of fun with this game even though the pacing is terrible at times. Building a well balanced team is very challenging in my opinion.

Edit: Just my luck. Here I am in the area where Fearow pop out of the trees and I press Run without looking... Turns out it was a Skarmory this time. Fuuuuuuuuuuu.

I am the same way. I tried last gen in X/Y and was like...wtf a I doing? I never feel like spending time to figure out IVs and EVs and natures, breeding for certain moves...I just want to play!


It is crazy how many pokes have a spawn rate of like 5% this time. I still haven't seen a freebas. I'm like 30+ hrs in and still on the 2nd island lol. Mostly been taking my time trying to catch a wide variety but now I'm over-leveled. I might switch out my main team for a secondary to keep the game challenging.

But you cant. You cant check anything nor can you even save.

Apparently if you kill it you have to do the elite 4 all over again to make it appear once more.

i'm not fully aware of the mechanics but does the bottle cap hyper training boost IV's?

I believe you need to do like a 40 chain of dittos. Think he is on route 10 of third island

bottle caps boost IVS but your poke has to be lvl 100

Gold bottle caps give all ivs 31
regular ones train one type of iv to 31

woah jelly. Once the bank opens up i should have a bunch of dittos i just know that is the easiest way to make breeding quicker.

Tough to say as I'm not really an expert myself. In the past I've tried calculators that determine the overall strenght of a team. You might wanna try this one: https://richi3f.github.io/pokemon-team-planner/

After filling in every slot you can hit the + and find the overall strenghts and weaknesses. It's fairly basic as it only shows the advantages and disadvantages against certain types but hope it helps.

Weaville is a pain to get hold of at the moment, but it's good that they give you dupes of most of the legendaries/UBs.

Been away from the forum and this series way too long, got most of the evee forms but my god damn levl 24 eevee wont evolve into espeon even though i have all hearts except one and it seems happy. Is it because it knows bite [dark type ] move or does it need full happiness. Because i got my other evee to evolvee to sylveon at level 15 so what gives.

Those hearts don't equate to happiness/friendliness they're affection I think. I made the same mistake.

The town where you get the fossil has a happiness checker and a massage place to boost it too.

Got a turtonator, pretty solid. Dropped my incineroar for him. I'm just en route to exeggutor island now.

Also at the dude with the Mimikyus, I'd love one lol. Tried catching that fukker for awhile and gave up, he just wouldn't appear

Yeah me too. I heard that small meteor/star thing is apparently really good. I really want the fighting/dragon poke to be good too i have no clue if it is but i hope it is.
I just got to the battle tree pretty awesome you can get every mega stone you missed from XY.
