I hope with the loss she can slip into irrelevancy where she belongs. I wouldn't hate her if it wasn't for her buying into her hype and legitimately thinking she could beat Floyd/Male MMA fighters. Her going suicidal hermit after getting destroyed was just the cherry on top. I hate McGregor for the same reasons, but I respect him for the way he handled defeat.

I reallllllllly dislike the UFC giving her this shot without fighting Holly first. The fact UFC has her ranked #2 in the division ahead of both Holm and Shevchenko is comical. It should have been Nunes vs. Shevchenko II and Holm vs Ronda II. Could have had it on the same card and have Ronda headline idgaf.

I agree with you 1 billion%! This being her first fight back(agianst Nunes) is a huge mistake! What's more surprising is that no one from her "team" told her,this is a horrible idea..
Holly is skilled,but her strikes are just pepper shots.. Nunes tries to decapitate her opponents! One thing is they both gas a bit after the 2nd round,so if Ronda makes it out of there,she may be the fresher fighter..? But who knows?

Being wrestled to the ground and kickboxing are two totally different styles you do realize that. And were you watching the same fight, Joanna killed her in striking. Even in the first fight, when the fight was being stood up she was lighting up Gadelha. It is clear though she needs to work on her wrestling and ground game.

Joanna has competed in Muay Thai for 10 years and won 4 World Championships and 6 European championships. She has an extensive amateur/professional kickboxing record. Please name me another MMA fighter with those type of credentials AND experience.

Has some of the highest significant strike differentials against opponents in the UFC, thoroughly dominated the former champion in Esparza. Dominated most of her opponents in general when it comes to striking.

Very few fighters throw combinations like her, and most definitely not as quick.
