I've been at my current job now for roughly a year and 8 months, there is a guy here who has been wearing the same clothes every f'cking day for that period of time, how the hell does one do that?
Same shirt, same pants, same sneakers (yes he is allowed to wear sneakers due to the department he works in)
Seriously how can anyone do that?

Is it literally the same clothes, or does he have multiple identical clothes? I've got several shirts and pants that I bought 2-3 of because I liked them so much.
Now, he COULD be simply washing them every night as well. When I worked in a restaurant I wore the same shirt and pants for several months. I threw them in the washer every night after work.ALL I ASK IS ALL YOU GOT FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES

I wear the same style jeans and the same style t-shirt (I have 5 of the same shirt) pretty much every work day. Of course on Sunday mornings and a few other days of the month I'm in a suit and tie but as soon as those commitments are over I'm back in the jeans and t-shirt.

Yeah when the sale is good at a discount place, why not buy 3 white shirts, and 3 khaki pants. I like to mix it up, but i can see how it could be done. There is a reason why we hear, "my wife dresses me." She lays out my clothes the night before.

Well he doesn't look dirty, not in the least. Also maybe it could be the same "looking" shirt, pants and sneakers, but I highly doubt that.
But if it is, who the hell wants to look the same way every f'cking day? Hell I can't wear the same shirt, pants, shoes/sneakers two days in a row!!On the list for Bannukah

In college, we had a certain professor for class 3 times a week. One of my buddies noticed that he never seemed to wear the same suit. So he started keeping a log of the guys suits and ties. Turned out he could go something like 8 weeks before he repeated a suit and even longer for ties.

Yep. Mostly identical dress pants for me. On my last job I had over a dozen "company" monogrammed shirts, so those were always different each day, but I usually rotated 3 identical pairs of dress pants during the week, doing 3 washes per week. Funny thing is, I have a closet full of dress pants and dress shirts, but I gravitate toward a certain few.
Each year I purge more from my closet, but I still have way more than I could ever need. Now, if my next gig requires business casual wear with no kind of company logo embossed on shirts, I'd be wearing lots of different combinations (was like this when I worked in mfg and at an airline corp office)."If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

The real question is, why are you paying so much attention to this dude to notice if he is wearing the same outfit everyday
I wear pretty much the same things everyday, Jeans - most look pretty similar - wrangler from walmart (high fashion), and Under Armour heat gear Tshirt. I have about 6 pairs of jeans that I wear and likely 20 of the shirts in about 5-6 colors. I like grey and blue so I wear those a lot. In the fall I have 3 insulated fleece lined flannels that I jokingly call "my uniform" cause I will wear the same one most of the week like a sweatshirt or just another layer that gets added or removed depending on my comfort. If I have high level meetings or court cases then i have to dress differently, but for everyday normal stuff, I pretty much wear the same thing.
Also my gym clotehs are the same. About 12 Russel Athletic Shirts (most in grey), and a bunch of Champion Rugby shorts -Grey
My point You should not be paying so much attention to men, to notice what they are wearing everyday...

I refer to it as the dark suit fallacy.
To a large extent, unless somebody is paying attention, a dark suit registers as a dark suit, not as black, charcoal, dark blue etc. A lot of people like and only wear dark colours, so somebody could have 50 suits, but when you walk past them in the corridor, all that registers is dark suit and it seems like they are wearing the same suit every day.Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

My closet is definitely full of a bunch of shirts and pants that I never wear. I've done several purges where I give them to family. Like you said, I tend to gravitate towards certain clothes. It's like the same 5 pairs of pants every week, and probably 7-8 polo shirts even though I have more than 50 (I counted them recently just for fun).
Flipping to workout clothes, I have 4 distinct combinations that I wear (I'm on a 4 day split). So I literally where a certain hoodie and certain jogging pants on Tuesday, a certain hoodie and certain shorts on Thursday...etc. I like not having to think about it, just grab the clothes based on the day.
There is a older gentleman that comes in on Saturday mornings to work out in a polo shirt and khaki shorts. And it's literally the same shirt and shorts every Saturday (or identical), so I guess he considers them his "workout clothes."ALL I ASK IS ALL YOU GOT FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES

I wear the same jeans day in and day out because I know where they are, all my stuff is still in the pockets and no need to find a belt. I change it up when I have to go someplace that I was not the day prior, but really could care less because I shower on a daily basis. Mainly my wardrobe consists of the weekly pair of jeans with different shirts and the occasional footwear change.
All that aside I have a very large wardrobe from work in several industries over the years and have a few closets full of clothing, I mention this not for bragging but for contrast, I don't wear any of it unless I absolutely need to or I'm meeting a client. I like wearing what I'm comfortable in and if it's week 3 jeans, then you can guarantee you will see week 3 jeans for all of week 3. Sometimes week 4 if I don't spill anything on them because I'm a rebel like that.

I've discovered that I have what seems to be a single dresser drawer full of long sleeve black shirts. It's like I subconsciously have a uniform.Ndtha ton eda yi'mg oIng tofi

Why not just walk up to the guy and punch him in the nose? If his shirt has the same blood stain on it the next day...there is your answer.
Okay, that might be a little harsh. Go up to him with a sharpie and accidentally get some on the back of his shirt where he can't see it. Wow, this reminds me of an old Seinfeld episode where every time he went out with a girl, she was always wearing the same thing. I believe he ended up "spilling" something on her to see what she would change into.ALL I ASK IS ALL YOU GOT FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES
