The issue with Canada is the extraordinary amount of non-white foreigners.
Question for everybody in this thread: How can you still be called a nation if your borders are open to anyone and everyone? This goes against the very meaning of what a nation is: "Large aggregate of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language" it seems to me as if Canadians lack any identity anymore.
Other than that, and perhaps the ultra-feminist ultra-liberal stance of view, and perhaps Chinese pricing white Canadians out of their own housing market, and perhaps the unoptimal frigid weather, and perhaps the sky-high tax rate, other than all of that the country is great. Fantastic geography, low crime rate, high standard of living, not-bad universities and education. That already puts it ahead of 90% of countries in this world.

Canada doesn't really have a European feel though unless you count old Montreal.
Toronto is a great city. Plenty to do, great food, great women. Downside is bad weather in the winter. The only other cities in NA that I would possibility rather live in are Vancouver, NYC, San Francisco, and maybe LA.
Lets be honest though, any western country is going to be in the top 10% of places to live.

it's not that we have a lot of non-whites. that's just racist as fuk, and incorrect. the natives were here first and i respect that. multiculturalism is the best thing about us. if vancouver didn't have such nice diversity i would hate living here. the amount of diversity we have is almost equal with whites which to me is an amazing step in humanity.
the issue here is that our immigration laws are terrible, not that we have immigration. there's just way too many chinese people living and working here who can't even speak a single word of english after spending years here. i don't have a solution for this chit but i find it ridiculous that the chinese come here and build their own companies hiring with chit that says "must be able to speak mandarin or cantonese." or even "must be able to speak punjabi." companies like those can just f*ck off back to their own country.
most of the minorities assimilate into our culture, so i have no problem with the majority of them. i just find it's mostly the chinese and indian immigrants that don't give a fuk about our culture. which irritates me.Last edited by 2RDEYE; 10-11-2016 at 09:04 AM.

Nope. I spend maybe about $200-$300/year on ammo. I go shooting but not all the time.
Healthcare? My company pays for it so they deduct nothing. They also contribute $1,000/year to my HSA, I contribute $500/year to it to meet my $1,500 deductible.
So, no bro. My company takes care of me, I am very fortunate. I have had "standard" healthcare though and it cost me roughly $125/month so a little over $1k/year.
When I do go for checkups/appointments, I have $1500/year to cover those costs from my HSA, which also rolls over and never lose it since it is not FSA, so for 3 years I have an HSA with over $4,000 in it. Yet I still only have an annual deductible of $1,500."We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit." -Will Durant
