this doesn't even make sense.he could have thrown her ass onto the balcony instead of placing her there and that doesn't make him a murderer.

did he intend to kill her? were his actions those of which he knew or should have known would lead to her death? did he act with reckless indifference for her life? these are better things for the jury to think about.....not was the force reasonably necessary to remove her from the apartment....

While i still dont think its enough.. his speech leading up to is weird as fuk.. along with her weird ass speech. She literally does not say one coherent, audible word other than "leave me alone"

But this is after i believe.. she escalated things to a fight, after he told her to leave and she wasnt going to get her things - im guessing this is when he got hit in the head with rocks.. idk. You cant tell in the video when theyre fighting and when things were normal.. but after all of that and she wasnt leaving/ escalating things

At the very end of the day, i dont think he can be punished because it was her decision to jump off

Ask yourself if you'd rather convict an innocent person or if you'd rather not convict a person who is probably guilty but there is some doubt.

The law is designed to avoid convicting innocent people which is why you need a unanimous decision.

If everyone agrees it means that the evidence is overwhelming so we can be very sure the person is guilty. We don't want to put innocent people in prison, unfortunately the cost of that is having some people who are probably guilty not convicted.

i think its more prone to bias instead of people vocalizing their real opinion.. i'd take majority vote over unanimous

I dont think he should be guilty, they where probably just banging and she got our of control for whatever reason and got too rough then he tried to calm her down and she kept attacking him, he then put her on the balcony to calm down for a little bit and her being drunk af tried to climb down and fell. He wasnt on the balcony.

• On Tuesday afternoon, the jury said it couldn't reach a verdict but the judge told them to keep trying.
• The jury has asked a series of questions, which the judge addressed before sending them back out to continue deliberations.
• Wright died in the early hours of August 8, 2014 after plunging from Tostee's 14th-floor Surfer's Paradise apartment.
• The Crown argued that Tostee frightened her so badly, he as good as pushed her himself.
• The defence countered that he was entitled to protect himself, and he could not have foreseen she would try to climb over the balcony moments after he put her outside.
• The jury was told if they do not find there is evidence beyond reasonable doubt Tostee is guilty of murder they can also consider manslaughter.

*Justice John Byrne outlined both sides of the case for the jury in the Brisbane Supreme Court on Monday morning Queensland-time.
*From the Crown's perspective Tostee intimidated his Kiwi Tinder date Warriena Wright, to the extent that he caused her to take the action she did - climbing over her balcony to her death.
*The defence's case was that Wright was acting increasingly irrationally, and Tostee was acting in self-defence from her assaults when he put a locked door between them as a barrier.
*Neither side is suggesting Tostee pushed Wright off the balcony.
