Im looking for loadable dumbbells due to space that will allow me to go up to about 100-120 lbs each. From searching on here it looks like the shermworks and ivanko handles are highly regarded. When I was younger I had a set of spinlocks but I seem to remember them being low quality. The finish was constantly flaking off and they were almost impossible doing things like overhead tricep exercises. Are these the best most secure option for using dumbbells of this type?

I see. Are there any other dumbbell setups out there better quality than the China spinlocks? Even the ivanko appear to be made in China or taiwan

powerblocks are pretty good. in my area you see more of them than you do ironmasters. the 120 kits are pretty rare around here, but their company has only ever gotten excellent marks for customer service around here, and the quality is good.
the shape of them turn off a lot of people. i have a set of u-90's and they're very nice.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

When the plates are seated and the screw is tight, they are solid as a rock. I don't drop them, but I'm not worried if I did. They pop up on craigslist sometimes, depending on where you are, not too often though. Maybe because they aren't sold retail like other brands, but I think most people who get them don't turn them loose, probably a combo of both.
