Losing Fat... while gaining muscle mass

A long time ago, I was overweight. I worked on it, and became normal-weight. That was almost 2 years ago. Then I learned to maintain it, and I think I've been pretty good at it.

Now I have a new goal - build up my muscles a bit more. I'm..

    5'8"
    19% Body Fat (impedance mesurement)
    152 lbs.

My goal is to lose about 4-5% more (target around 14-16% BF), and gain about 10lbs in muscle mass.

So I want to lose about 5lbs fat, while gaining about 15lbs in muscle mass.

I'll likely go chat with a nutritionist about this, but my question is - do I try to maintain a caloric deficit in my nutrition until I hit my target BF%, then go on to try bulking, or do I just work on bulking and hope that the heightened metabolism obtained from the extra muscle mass and workouts will burn the fat without the need to maintain a caloric deficit in my diet?

    Logic.

I want to gain while loosing = No logic.

Unfortunately something called Homeostasis prevents us from doing that. Hence why some people will go through bulking and cutting phases.
