How accurate is Nutrition info in packages?

I found this Liberty Chicken Luncheon Meat and I wanna try it as a cheat instant meal. I still want to control my calories so I take a look at the info and found only 20cals per serving while having 20 protein and some fat.

How accurate is this or is this even possible

Looks like a typo. Calories should be 160ish assuming the rest is correct.

Looks like it's 20 calories per serving, 7 servings per container. 20 grams of protein is Total amount in container, so about 3 grams of protein per serving.

It's pretty clear that a serving size is 50 grams. with 7g fat, 5g carbs and 20g protein per serving. Impossible for 50g of meat to be 20 calories - no matter how processed. Everything but the 20 calories per serving is in line with expectation.

    huh.
One of my friends has been stuck at 126 for 3 weeks.
She walks 5 miles a day but doesn't lift weights (i'm telling her to)
She swears she is on 1200 cals because every meal she eats is prepackaged.

common logic dictates a woman her size with her activity level not losing weight on 1200 cals is not actually eating 1200 cals.
I'm wondering now if something she is buying has a screwed up/confusing label like this.

In the US, FDA allows a 20% margin of error in package information, the primary reason why it's never recommended to use it when figuring one's daily calorie/macro/micro intake. Instead, use a food scale and one of the online nutrition info sites such as http://nutritiondata.self.com/
    No brain, no gain.

"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon

Is no one going to point out that below 'Calories: 20' it says 'Calories from fat: 60'? It's clearly a typo. What's amazing is MFP has it listed as 20 cal too, I'm surprised whoever entered that didn't question it.

The macros = 163 per serving, if those are even accurate themselves. could be though because the total fat says 60 and 7 x 9 = 63 so not far off.
