    The scale is such a confusing concept to me. Last Monday I weighed 163 pounds, weighing in at 10 pm or so, and tonight I weighed in an hour ago (7:30 pm) and I was 169... I don't UNDERSTAND what number to use, but I definitely did not gain 6 pounds. Absolutely no way. I am confusion

    I usually tell people to pick one day out of the week, preferably morning, and after their morning doodle to weigh themselves. That typically ensures a fairly accurate reading. Also, don't always go by the scale. Go by the mirror, too. If you legitimately gain too much too fast, meaning it'll be fat, you'll notice because abs are the first to go. And I think that's something you'd like to keep in some form or another.
    Yeah, I've been consistently weighing myself on Mondays at around 10, but I wasn't able to so I figured two days later wouldn't hurt, but I guess it does. My abs have been fine and all that so like. .. yeah idk lol

    My mirror is my best friend for my body composition

    That scale will phuk ones head up, I ditched it but it takes time to do that

    Binges don't work for me. No matter how much I fast, once I'm full, I'm full. Unless it's snacking food like goldfish, then I can eat an entire box by myself lmfao

    I guess I'll just wait and weigh in a couple weeks? Gah. Kinda kills me not knowing numbers. I don't know if I'm gaining at all or gaining if I should be. I just upped my intake from 2700 to 3000 cuz I wasn't really gaining any. I'm bad at this fitness stuff.

    I'm using FiveStar Nutrition Chocolate flavor, need something bland that doesn't overwhelm the taste of the shake. Seems to be working pretty nicely, though I'm almost out. Probs Gold Standard ON next.

    It's actually not that bad, I've grown to enjoy it. Use quick oats instead of normal for the blend to be 100x better and make the shake a lot less thick

    You guys are quiet tonight, maybe I'll actually be able to sleep before 2 am.

    Oh yeah, absolutely. I only use the shakes when I can't hit my macros any other way, but the past week or so I've been able to just make a normal protein shake and I'd be good. Really surprised about that if I'm honest

    Sub some peanut butter/trail mix in for the shakes, you're likely already hitting your protein reqs.

    Tastes better and it's going to be actual food.

    On average days that I use shakes like these, I'm at 110 protein. Needa hit around 160-170 and this shake has 63 grams so it puts me up there. I realize that might seem like a lot but these shakes are eaten over a couple hours. Started this shake at 900, it's now 1230 and I've got a bit left LOL

    I'll try that. The pb at least. Trail mix is no longer edible when I'm not on the trail. LOL
