Negged, each of the Mr Olympias in the poll did something massive for the sport. Dorian raised the bar for back development and conditioning. Phix is mr olympia in a new age, the age of social media. An age of online HATE and VITRIOL, where he gets negativity directed at him all the time, yet he manages to block it out and stay focused on the goal.

You used to hear people talk about the Mr Olympia being the "ambassador for the sport" but nobody knows what that means or cares that much. Pro bodybuilding's an insular sport of freaks that has little or no mainstream appeal. Chris Hemsworth and Gerard Butler bring far more people into the sport than Phil Heath or Kai Greene ever could.

Therefore based on judging scorecards Heath is now the Goat and he is quite a long way ahead of Coleman. If we assume for the sake of this thread that the Olympia judging is correct then we should all Phix our votes.

You're forgetting that while Phil does better on the scorecards than Ronnie, this isn't just a factor of him being good, it's also a factor of other bodybuilders being bad.

For once, I have to agree with batspoof. Kai Greene would destroy every 90's guy if we go by modern metrics apart from the goat. Hell, everybody in the top 10 this year would have stomped every 90's guy except for Ronnie and Dorian, and maybe the best appearance from kevin and flex. Don't bring up shawn ray, he makes dexter look like big Ramy. He would have done well in 212 though. Dillet and sonbaty while actually being the most similar to the modern guys from the front and side, would lose way too much ground from the back.

IMO there was noticable difference size in his arms every year. I remember Flex Magazine had an issue and it had a to scale size of his arm. It was pretty cool.

Calum has a physique similar to that of arnold yet we don't see him competing in Mr. Olympia.
