While it's respectable that he went ahead and did the show anyway, it would have saved a lot of embarrassment to just state at the time that he was injured and possibly won't be looking his best. Instead of going on about how he's going to be in the first call out and will show the new breed how it's done 90's style, etc.

I have no doubt that if he didn't get these injuries, we would have seen the kevin of old. I really hope he heals up and continues to train. He could crack top 10 next year if he has a full off season. All he really needs to do is bring up the wheels to be competitive.

sounds to me like a contract to show up to the olympia that he didn't/couldn't break and he did what he could to show up as good as he could. With Kai dropping out the previous year and continuing to be a no show this year they needed something to create hype. He can say what he wants about feeling like this was the time and something was calling him to it but to me he was offered huge cash and begged to compete at the olympia.

Apparently he was the one who approached them asking for an invite.

Injuries or no injuries, there is still no excuse for the way his conditioning was. He looked like a bar of soap from the back. And his front just looks really tired, you can really tell the no matter what he does, he won't have the same look. No point in him having another go at this unless he really wants to kill himself, I think he's already taken a few years off his life with this show.

His conditioning was fine and he looked much better at finals, but I think the lack of back thickness made it look flat/less conditioned. Side chest and MM looked good/conditioned.

He cares about his health too I don't think he'd do it unless he was careful.

How is tendinitis worse than a muscle tear? Its pretty clear that his leg loss extends beyond the condition, made it worse ok. The chest you couldn't even tell.

His body obviously cannot take the kind of training necessary to be competitive any more. Aging sucks. Why do we have to get old?

Props to him, though, for following through and finishing what he started. Lesser men would've thrown in the the towel. He's a true champion.

If i was levrone i prob would have said the same or somthing close.Anything else just would have ruined the hype.I do get why people are pissed at him for slightly missleading their expectations.

In hindsight i really do think phil would beat kev even at his prime.

    Yeah, kinda like Pacquaio.

Do you guys think the pec tear had something to do with his left arm/delt being smaller than the right?. You can see it in the bdb, though his chest looked ok.

Watch the sprint video, the interviewer asked levrone if he will smoke the guy, levrone just smiled and laughed. Obviously he was just there having fun, I don't think he's that delusional.

Well what else could he say lol. Nah I watched the video, clearly there for fun not a serious challenge he thought he could win. Makes more sense that he didn't actually think he could beat an olympic sprinter. That being said he was actually pretty fast especially for his size
