all in good fun of course(we don't have too much else to talk about at this O tbh)
(Not to blow my own trumpet, but this was my contribution from nearly 3 weeks ago)
"You are going to be so disappointed..
Even at his absolute best, it wasn't just a question of one pose. Nothing happens in the front Lat spread or front double bi either. I don't agree that his rear Lat spread compared to Dorian either, no Xmas tree.
Having said all that, you are certifiable if you think he is going to take the same goodies as he took back then, at his age now. My bet would be outside the top 10, any better I will be genuinely impressed, if he deserves it. "
Now, there were plenty of others with equally realistic predictions (lets call ourselves 'the haters')
From that same thread (Kevin 9 weeks out) post 447
the prediction by the modern day bodybuilding Nostradamus, KevinSorbo(post447)
"He is 251 pounds currently. Boom Full Blown baby. Once he's carbed up he'll look massive especially considering he'll have one of, if not the smallest waist on stage with no gut."
fu cking lol.. any worse predictions out there? (I can think of a few as bad, time for others to contribute..)

post 468, same thread user 'freezewun"
"Levrone just benched 405 for 8 clean reps, the old Kevin is back in action...first I was just excited that he may make an appearance at the Olympia, then I started thinking he might actually crack top 5...if he keeps his waist tight and doesn't **** up this prep I honestly think he can bang with the top 3 at this point. Video of him benching is on his IG, was going to include a link but apparently I don't post enough lol "2023 bertie awards 2024 nominations

post 580, "death metal"
So much for your waist getting thicker with age lmao. It looks 1992 size, except his lats are as big as they were in 1998. Still think it's ridiculous that I think he'll place top 6 (maybe even better) and is guaranteed top 10?
If he looks anything like this on stage, he deserves the Olympia. Just the fact that he's come so far, it would be the perfect story. The other top guys apart from Ramy can only dream of this kind of width.2023 bertie awards 2024 nominations

I am a man and as a man I will admit I was wrong and the realistic people (aka haters as they were called) were right. I need to forget about Levrone, everytime I see his prime shape, I see those pictures from yesterday. They are literally burned into my mind. There are several guys now who would've beaten him in his prime anyhow barring politics. I don't hate him for setting foot on stage, I hate the man because he literally emanated confidence 24/7 and was so believable when he was saying he could definitely crack the top 6, he would bring a package that would make the 90s era proud, legs will be on point blablah. I'm sure he lost a lot of fans yesterday anyhow.

Lmao, great thread idea. I thought Kevin would be top 10. And I still think he would have been if his legs matched his upper body, I did not expect them to be THAT bad. Still looks better than Ben Pak though.
What I don't get though, is how he looks SOOOOO much better at the press conference??tattoos - http://facepolution.deviantart.com/

lol....
You call yourself a "Man" when you can't stand by your idol just because he had a poor showing. When you literally say you HATE him just because he had poor physique compared to the others up there. How pathetic...
You're the friend who will abandon a friend when he stops having money. Or the wife who abandons her husband when he loses his job.

What makes you think he didn't believe that he could? With someone of Kevin's ego, you often need a reality check to see the error of your ways... His social media and general media attention was unparalleled, and he actually started to believe his own hype. Posting black and white vids with Creed on them, wearing his hoodies like it was the 90s. This is a 50 year old man who still believed he was 30.
There's a reason so many people called him delusional. Because he was..
It would be the same as if the Roman empire existed today as it did in 100AD and believed they could win a war against America with bows and swords.

Good idea!
Can't wait until the Olympia. Kevin is going to wipe the floor with the competitionSo much for your waist getting thicker with age lmao. It looks 1992 size, except his lats are as big as they were in 1998. Still think it's ridiculous that I think he'll place top 6 (maybe even better) and is guaranteed top 10?Heath is the most beatable multiple Mr O in the history of the sport, Levrone is looking on target.he will dethrone Heathtop 5 for sureJust came here to say that: in 2002's Muscle Camp Kevin was what? 200 pounds?
Then, three months later, he finished second to the best bodybuilder ever.
I can see now why guys like Palumbo are kinda hyped about Kevin's comeback...Looking on target, he would beat Heath 2014 who should have placed outside the top 6 that year.I could see him coming in at 240-245 lb. That's his best range. He already looks close to that plus he's already contest lean, just has to drop water.I don't get why a top 10 for Kevin is so hard for everyone to fathom...even a top 6.Kevin is a muscle memory miracle, great delts, arms, abs, tight waist, condition, charisma and winning attitude, but average chest, small forearms, back?????,legs?????? and narrow frame.Gifted TOP6 imhoCombine all that with his aesthetics, symmetry, lack of gut (oh yea, he'll have one of the smallest waists -and proportionally probably the smallest) on stage. If Kevin comes in anything like his old self before 2003, him winning is very realistic and well deserved.TPTB need to give this Sandow to Levrone as long as he is in decently respectable shape. For the last decade he's been like #1 or #2 on everyone's "uncrowned Mr. Olympia" list and now the judges can make it right. If he looks anything like this on stage, he deserves the Olympia.Lol add another hater to the list. Do you realize how fast he GROWS? Kevin only trained a few months a year during his prime. He has a HEAD start. He is going to make a laughing stock of all of you come stage TIME.Surely the steroids now are different to the steroids used in the 90s? He'll be on the same stuff as the rest of the guys so presumably will have bigger legs etc than 90sTop 10 is certain, top 6 is probable. You still doubt the MMM capability? Hahaha....He's out of this world with his genetics. He's in his own plane of existence compared to modern bodybuilders.

To be fair, there was lots of bull**** from Levrone haters, too.
You could pull up posts of people saying he'll weigh 210lb on stage, that he's using fake weights, that he's using a bench shirt, that the pictures on IG weren't really of him, that it's all a scam to promote his supplement line, etc.
But still, "presumably will have bigger legs etc than 90s"...hahahahaha
More like I'm the friend who abandons a friend when he sleeps with my wife. Or the wife that finds out the husband is a serial killer. I wouldn't have had anything against the man if he had been honest.
Levrone tried the best he could. He's a fifty year old man, what do you want from him? You had a fantasy in your head that he was going to look amazing and wonderful, and he didn't live up to that. That's on YOU, not him. You just had unrealistic expectations.Last edited by BartPimpson; 09-18-2016 at 02:03 AM.

"But the legs what? We haven't seen them yet, so we cannot say good or bad about them. We have to wait and see. But going by Kevin's track record the past few months doing exactly what he says hes going to do, I imagine they'll be good enough that they don't take away from the physique. "

""Probably." As I've said before I do not believe he uses more supplements than the average IFBB pro. His RESPONSE is just that much better. Why are you so angry about a guy your age getting ready to BLOW away the Olympia? "

"Shoulders are looking massive, his trademark!
That thin skin that comes with age will really give him an edge. When Phil started competing, he was always told he needs more muscle maturity, and more vascularity just right to be a top contender. Levrone easily surpasses this and will be the best wildcard to hit the stage in the history of the sport.
As youtube comments put it "I wish I could grow in a year, what kevin does in a day".

lol, at this point you're just reaching. This isn't even a prediction..? Read what I said and try to comprehend if possible. You believe in making predictions -good or bad- on bodyparts you havent even seen?
That quote of mine just shows that I remained objective. Yes I 'imagined they would be decent enough not to take away from the physique. But hardly a prediction. Nothing wrong with the thread idea but you're trying a bit hard now. Not to mention, no one knew about the tendonitus that he had qhich prevented him from squatting. If we knew that, people's predictions would have been different.
this lol he just keeps desperately bumping the thread.
