5-6 fights I'm interested in. I know Gall is not some p4p best in the world but he's much younger. Looked crisp against that can be beat. Will be interesting to see what Chael predicts on the analyst show, since Chael and Punk have been RL friends for many years. If he predicts Punk by upset based on how well he knows him then I'll give Punk a chance. Then again Chael predicted Hunt to KO Brock, and obviously never happened.

Looking forward to it. Interesting to see people underestimating Stipe considering what he's done. I think he may shock a few people. And I think as long as we don't see the potato Werdum we saw against Stipe, I think he'll win that fight against Brown.
I'm already on record saying Punk is gonna get rekt.

'
Gall also had 6 amateur fights, so don't kid yourself. He wouldn't have been in the UFC yet on his own probably. But neither has several people on the Bellator roster or the WSOF roster... or the Cage Warriors roster, or the Titan FC roster. And every one of those guys would likely kill Punk, too.

Fair enough.....I think Stipe can absorb a lot more than overeem but I don't think he's near overeems level when it comes to striking. I can't really think of a gameplan that would trouble overeem. Overeem usually loses when he's unable to finish his opponents early and when he gasses. He's become a lot less explosive since his losing streak though. Stipe needs to find a way to get a brawl going...

I think Stipe is almost the prototype for the type of fighter than can do exactly what you first said against Overeem.
He has good cardio, and he has good footwork. He lasted 3 rounds against JDS, and a lot of people think he won that fight.
Maybe Stipe's gameplan will be just to drag it into the championship rounds and win rounds 3, 4, and 5.
