The research out there right now is saying to have only protein and fats the first couple of hours of the day, and then time your carbohydrates around your workout if you are trying to build mass. When you eat fats and protein in the morning, your body becomes metabolically flexible which means your body can switch from fats to carbs for energy sources. If you start off with carbs, research says you will use carbs as energy and not fats, so you are limiting yourself and have to keep consuming carbs throughout the day. MCT fats will also go straight into the mitochondria and give you more energy quicker. Then you can have some simple carbs before and during a workout if you want to be most optimal.

From my experience - after lifting and dieting the last 8+ years - Ive felt best when i was eating 1g of protein per bw, whenever I went periods of eating less than that, lets say I was 200lbs and was eating 140-160g - I just didnt feel the same mentally or strong at the gym as I do when I was eating 200+g of protein, but thats just me.
Honestly it also depends on if youre cutting or bulking.
I have little motivation to eat lots of protein when bulking, and way more motivation to eat protein when cutting

for natties that lift i think 1g/lb lbm is a great minimum. and if you prefer more protein i don't see anything wrong with eating more. not gonna hurt you.
for non natties there aren't even any credible studies i know of that look at protein requirements in a deficit or non-deficit state*SCC*

Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

Im cutting with Intermittent fasting, so I train fasted and don't believe much in nutrient timing as far as gains go. I've tried many different ways of eating pre/post workout in the past and the differences are negligible. Sometimes I don't even have time to squeeze a protein shake in post workout for up to 2-3 hours and it hasn't made the slightest difference.
I think THIS. Im Natty so I highly doubt eating 205g of protein vs 250g is going to make that much of a difference. Would rather get my carbs and fats in with those extra calories.
