big people are slow myth!!!!!!
this has been on my mind for a while everyone always says that big bulky people are slow this is not true cause ive seen alot of bb's beat small people in races and other things...and alot of people from school say im slow cause im big but yet i cam nin 2nd fastest at the 40 yard dash at football conditioning? what do you all think about this myth?

One of our math teachers is kinda big, he beat the whole football team in a race last year, he used to be a track guy. And even after gaining some weight(not clean lol) he is still fast.

It's not a myth, it's simple physics... The more weight you have to move, the harder it will be for you.
That being said, there's some exceptional athletes with an excellent work habit that can become bulls with the size and speed they attain. Jerome Bettis, for one.

That's basically what I said in the second part of my post.
To sum it up, yeah it will be harder if you weigh more, but if you can stick to a good routine and punish yourself in the gym day in and day out, you can accomplish anything.

arnold is pretty damn slow
you're right about tyson though hes fast and explosive.
brock lesnar is 6'2 280 and hes really fast as well
most big guys are slow though their are a few exceptions that are genetic freaks like the above guys though.

I wouldn't call 5'9" big and bulky. In fact that's about the size of most of the fastest guys in pro sports. I'm close to the same size as you and have always been fast, though I may have lost a step I still consider myself one of the elite runners in the world.
