You're entitled to your opinion pal. I agree with you that ronnie's glutes/hamstrings look slightly more striated. But Phil's whole arm is considerably more shredded and his back is better conditioned. Those outweight having superior glutes/hamstrings in that pose IMO.

Phil actually makes Ronnie Coleman's back look poor in this attached pic...
Phil is underrated as fuark.
Maybe people will hop on the Heath bandwagon if/when he beats the Mr Olympia record of 8 wins. And he's certainly capable of doing that. The guy smokes everyone on stage...Kai Greene/Jay Cutler/Dexter Jackson aren't exactly slouches either.

Please don't photoshop two bodybuilders together. It proves nothing.
It's easy to take the best pic of bodybuilder A and compare it with the worst pic of bodybuilder B, or to improperly scale them so that a height difference disappears or increases. I once made a side-by-side where Lee Labrada looks bigger than Ronnie Coleman. You can literally do it with any two bodybuilders. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.
IFBB brahs über alles.

I voted for Ronnie because it's hard to argue with his combination of sheer mass combined with great conditioning and good shape, especially early on.
Arnold obviously doesn't hold up in comparison to modern day greats on stage; it's just a different world. As far as his place as the all time king of bodybuilding, I think he may always have that title.
As usual, the hate for Phil is remarkably strong in this thread. People are fooling themselves who don't feel he is the best bodybuilder in the world right now, and right up there with the greats of all time. Reality is he probably will break the all time record for sandows and he will be crowned one of the greatest of all time. Looking at these comparison pictures, he holds up remarkably well with Ronnie, Haney, and Dorian. I think he finishes second at worst in a real world contest amongst all these greatsYou control your own destiny; some of us take that responsibility more seriously than others

But I haven't taken the worst picture of certain bodybuilders and compared it to the best of others?
And if you look at the comparisons I've scaled it accurately, rather than manipulating it. This isn't a biased thread of trying to prove someone's better than somebody else. I'm a neutral so I'm genuinely interested in how these bodybuilders look on stage together.

Repped for the good work put in to making the pics, thread and poll.
And PS. Lolol at people saying that Kai should be ranked ahead of Phil, or should replace him in the poll. Lost head to head against him repeatedly, zero sandows ever to 5 and counting. Yep, definitely a much better bodybuilderYou control your own destiny; some of us take that responsibility more seriously than others

This is one of those things you read from the type of forum poster that have never competed, seen anyone compete, been to a show, or had any in person experience in bbing other than a computer screen. Seriously when dafuq has arm conditioning been a thing in bbing other than between old fat ladies...

This pic comparison means absolutely nothing. Phil looking as big and as wide as Ronnie, which in real life thats simply not even close.
To compare them you need a video, not scale pictures. I can make myself looking bigger then Ronnie ....
Ronnie was so much bigger and wider then Phil, and its not even close. And No Phil was not better conditioned then Ronnie.
Even at his best Phixy was big time narrow, his chest simply looks laughable.
Yeah tell me how they are in 1 category about size and width:

Ron is like 2x wider and so much bigger then Phixy and yes Ron still is in better condition.
And judges may gift him even 10 Olympia title, and he still wont be the Best of All Time ....

3rn, then no one can help you. Buy yourself a glasses ....
There is 2 videos in my post, which clearly show that Ronnie is better condition and is so much bigger and wider. In the picture you cant see this because of sh** scale .... Ronnie back is wider, bigger, better conditioned, overall much better then Heath one. Not even want to tlak about RLS, and how much ownage Ronnie give to Phily there. The width difference there is like a Pro vs Amateur ....
And you know what i didnt even put the best Ronnie Olympia, while in the same time i put best of Phixy and still Ronnie destroy him.

Don't know what to say. OP honestly thinks Phil is in the same league as Coleman? Lmao. Phil at his best isn't even on Jay's level, never mind Ronnie's. He beats Dorian, Lee and Arnold but that's just cause he's 20-40 years ahead of them, so that's not a fair comparison, who knows what they would have looked like had they been at their peak nowadays. Ronnie is an anomaly, he is the only bodybuilder from the 90s who can smash every bodybuilder in the modern era even without their stacks; Levrone, Flex and company are both more gifted than Phil but they would get beaten just due to advances in technology. The only bodybuilder who can surpass peak Ronnie in the foreseeable future is a chap named Big Ramy, but only if he reaches Ronnie's level of conditioning.
