Question Why do I go out of ketosis after working out?

before gym = positive result with keto sticks.
    after gym = negative result.

    what does that mean?

Are you sure you are out of ketosis? you might just be giving off a false positive urinalysis. Ketostix are known to be inaccurate especially during the day when we've had plenty of water to drink and our urine has been diluted.

I could be wrong but I thought those pee sticks are very inaccurate because if you arent peeing out the acetane(sp?) or keytones, you're body is effectively using them as energy.

been doing keto for like 2-3 months now, those keto stix never worked for me tbh.

Throw the sticks away dude, they aren't accurate. I dropped 40lbs on keto and I never registered over a small amount of ketones in my urine. Why? Because instead of expelling them, I was using them. Don't get obsessed with the numbers game on the sticks or the BG. Eat right, stick to your macros and don't worry about the small details. If you plateau then you can lookand see what might need to change.

I suspect it's due to you being hydrated. If you drink lots of water during your workouts, then it's surely possible to get a false negative from the ketostix because of watered down urine.

As the others have said, ketostix are unreliable... I always used them in the morning when I woke up... Just for motivation really.
