I honestly cant remember my entire workout from the other night, but here is some video of 1 of my 3 sets of 80lbs dumbbell curls

Got damn, strong curls Vaughn.

80 lb DB curls is stupid strong. Mirin'

Had a good leg day but still dealing with some knee bursitis. Very annoying because I know that I have the strength for more weight, but the gnawing feeling just throws me off. I should probably skip leg day for a week or two but I'm too stubborn haha.

The bursa sac is inflamed in my knee, so it just really starts annoying me when I go deep or even parallel on squats/leg press. I'm pretty sure that it would help with inflammation to take some days off, but you know how that is..

To be fair here, last time I competed was in 2007. I was 21.

After 2009, I took a very long break from training. 24 months ago, I was 320lbs.


When my daughter was born, I saw an innocent and fragile baby who needed a strong father and mother. My wife had kept training, I hadn't. It took my daughters birth to show me that I not only needed to get healthy, but to get strong both physically and emotionally to show her what I expect of her to appreciate in her peers as she ages.


I didn't hit a gym for 5+ years. January 2016 is this first time I've been back in the gym. I have great genetics for muscle memory, but I've been busting my ass harder than ever before. For me, when I realized I had a son and a daughter looking to me for direction, nothing else mattered. With them watching my every move, I will not faulter again. I may never compete again, but I will NEVER quit again.

Just came back from a great Leg session with Arctic Lemon Ice Sizeon by my side through every set. Stuff tastes so good that it's unbelievable.. it's just like the frozen lemonade Minute Maid popsicle things. Workout looked the same as the last that I posted. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Pre: Gaspari SuperPump MAX, Black Cherry

Intra: Gaspari Sizeon, Arctic Lemon Ice

Started with lat pulldowns, making sure to get the full stretch from top to bottom. Then went to seated cable rows and tried my best to squeeze and pause at the pull back. Onto DB shrugs and bent over rows, then finishing with some bicep work.

Good workout and a great pump going. Cannot explain how good the Black Cherry SP MAX is, just perfect flavoring IMO.

Simple yet effective workout today. Working on getting back to my comfortable squatting weight of 275 lb (4 x 6) and then I will be on the road to 315 lb (4 x 6) Leg pressing felt good with a narrow-ish stance and all of the accessory movements went well. Loving the Sizeon to drink intra-workout because I do personally feel as though carbohydrates help me immensely with endurance.

Overhead Dumbbell Press - 3 x 5
Inline Dumbbell Press - 3 x 5

Tricep rope extensions, overhead extensions
Rear-delt machine flyes
Low-to-high Cable Crossover chest flyes

Had a damn good workout today! Went to the gym in a semi-fasted state which I absolutely hate. Couldn't help it due to schedule, so just went to the gym anyway. It turned out to be an awesome session and I was impressed with my strength and endurance. I wouldn't doubt that Sizeon helped with this immensely since it was the first "meal" I had consumed in a while.

I always do full rom when doing curls
Friends usually laugh at me when I'm going light weight with them 20-35lbs but the burn and pumps are unreal

In 4 review. Anxious to give this stuff and plasmajet a whirl myself. A little leery about DMAA and its half life but was advised to use it on heavy days which unfortunately isn't every day for me...but that would also therefore help to negate any buildup in my system.
