Bonac was a clear 2nd after Phil IMO, Cedric should have been higher too. Based on the prejudging, I didn't catch the finals.

How badass would it have been if Phil called out Kai... "Where you at Kai?! Sort your **** out! I'm waiting for you!" even better if he said "I'm coming for you!" and announced he would do the AC, that would be siiiick. He seems super salty about social media.

I don't think ramy will be winning this show, ac Ohio sure but not Mr.o. barring an injury or coming in super off, Phil could very well get 10 sandows like he wants. After he retires it will be Dallas' time to shine. Compton josh and Nathan will also be in the top 6 when the old guard will retire (Shawn dex wolf)

Because the olympia is so utterly predictable. Everyone knew Phil was going to win his 6th sandow. Everything went as expected...not really much left to talk about.

To me, the biggest surprise/highlight was William Bonac moving up to 5th spot. I think he'll continue to improve and move further up the ranks next year.

I had my whole weekend booked out and I only watched like an hour of prejudging. Skimming the thread and looking at pics:

1. The show was REALLY well judged. No complaints with any of the placings except Cedric.

2. Phil deserved to win.

3. This was the year the Pacific Islanders launched a massive power grab. Roelly and Will both looked incredible - huge respect to them both. Particularly happy for Will: the judges had an unfortunate habit of overlooking him.

4. Mixed feelings on Big Ramy. He looked good and it was nice to see him move up another spot. But he lost some of the freaky mass that was his trademark. I wonder if he'll be another Kai, alternating between huge and off and small and on.

5. Kevin looked like I thought he would. The number of successful middle-aged bodybuilding comebacks remains at zero.

6. Cedric could have been higher. How much higher, I cannot say.

7. Josh's 9th was a respectable showing in a stacked field.

IFBB logic. I am disappointed Ramy didn't place better. I think he should have been number 2 at least. I want to see his pictures next to Phil in those group comparisons. Sure he was not as big as last year, but he DWARFED Phil still.

I honestly do not know how Dex can beat Bonac. Bonac is better conditioned, better fullness, more size. And its not like Dex is taller than him.

Seeing the pics now, it seems silly to me that Dex and Shawn have beaten Ramy. He just outmasses them SOOOOO much. Shawn is lacking a back and Dex is SO much smaller that his slightly better conditioning should not make him better.

I thought Bonac should have placed 2nd, I agree Cedric should have been up there. I would love it if they gave him the title to turn bodybuilding in that direction tbh but that ain't happening.

I agree Phil was the clear winner but he wasn't winning all of the poses

I thought Ramy looked average, like he always does. Weak calves and weak BDB. His FLS is awesome though

Kevin's upper body looked how I though, but damn... I didn't expect the legs to be that bad

Cedric should have been higher IMO, he looked as diced as the top guys, not as full but absolutely NO gut. Like I said he should be the bench mark.

This years O was better than previous years in terms of the quality of the competitors, no branch, no wolf, almost everyone was in shape. I actually enjoyed it a lot aside from the infuriating camera work

The IFBB signed a 50 yo man with no back and legs and who peaked 20-25 years ago to create more hype for the Olympia this year than all the crop of current pros combined.

And there are still people saying that qn insecure manchild and the rest of boring guys have better personalities and physiques than the 90's golden era. Not happening bros...

So Ramy for once come in conditioned, and people are complaining he was small, no matter he was the biggest and widest or second biggest only to Roelly. So what we should say about Philly then and how small he is?
Phill for example had him on details, but Ramy had him on size, width and better frame.
Phill again is the winner, but yet nobody dare to answer my question, what pose he won against Roelly except BDB ? Simply none. What poses he won against Ramy ?
Roelly should place better. Cedric deserve better place as well. Dexter places is due to politics and because he is there for long time, nothing else. He look small, lack width, calves, legs, ABS looks ugly and they put him in 3rd really? If we talk about condition, then Bonac was better then him in every aspect. If we talk about mix Ramy and Roelly should have been above him.
I like Rhoden the most again, but have no problem with Phill winning. The only problem year i have with Phill is 2014. He was fading in prejudging, missing condition, abs missing, gut problem and Kai was looking insane and they gift him.
Its obvious after all the years, the only way to take the crown from the Champ is for him to come in massive off, and you looked 2x time better then him. Its suck, its not a sport, but thats it today BB.

And for this guy who say Ramy has no calves and no BDB, you mad dude? Ramy has 1 of the best BDB and hes calves are big. Maybe the biggest from the side.
Ramy looks sick in the finals. Lets hope he come in condition and fullnes next year and finally took the title from Philly.

Get over it..Phil is pretty much the best on stage. "OVERALL"...I was for Roelly but Phil is still looking good and even brought up his legs and conditioning.
