You don't need supplements. Getting your macros and calories in and training on a good program will get you more gains than any supplement ever will. Companies shove their advertisements down your throat to make you think you need to buy their product to gain muscle and strength, but that is not the truth at all. Diet and training is all you need.

No supplements are at all necessary.
There are a few that would be that much of a waste of (you parents) money, and a few that are complete wastes of (your parents) money.
The sort of worth it ones:
Protein Powders- Buy if you have trouble hitting your daily protein requirements, but make sure the majority of your protein sources come from whole foods.
Creatine- Only worth it if you buy a cheap creatine monohydrate. Like $12 at places like walk-mart or cvs. It'll give you extra atp to push out those last few reps. Don't expect miracles though, it'll help for like 2-3 more reps or so. 3-5 grams a do, no need to load or cycle.
Multivitamen- Could save money and just keep your diet as healthy as possible, but a multi will make sure gaps in your diet are covered.
The Not all all worth it ones, (don't waste $ on these)
Mass Gainers- Eat more whole foods. If your struggling to get enough cals throughout the day then make your own mass gainers with a blender. More micronutrients and tastes 300x better than that powdered crap.
BCAA's- Unless you train fasted, it's useless
Test Boosters- Your 15, it won't do chit for you.
Pre Workouts- Drink coffee, same effect and is wayyyyyy cheaper
Fat Burners- Don't achieve anything.My log:

I mean I'm not trying to be defensive here but;
1. I'm not like afraid of sugar or anything, but I'm sure as hell going avoid something with 60 grams of it in a 16 oz can. That's just fkin awful for your liver.
Especially when they have sugar free options that taste just as good.
2. I used to be up at 135 pounds until I got sick a few weeks ago and wasn't able to eat a lot (or well, barely anything), leading to me losing weight I didn't want to lose.
Again, I'm not scared of gaining weight!! I don't get why you constantly think I am.Last edited by Cshall98; 07-17-2016 at 07:45 AM.
