Lots of brahs on the MISC make jokes about conspiracy theories or legitimately believe them (LinuxJon). Which conspiracy theories are the most believed on the MISC?

Brief explanations:

9/11 was an inside job - Some people believe that the 9/11 attack was orchestrated by the US government to garner support for a war in the middle east.

Chemtrails - Some people believe that the exhaust vapour that airplanes often leave behind is actually an intentional poisoning to keep people docile/stupid or to decrease breeding.

Flat earth - LinuxJon and maybe 5 other people in the world think that the earth is actually flat. I'm not sure what purpose they think is being fulfilled by this lie.

Kennedy assassination - It's a popular belief that the assassination of Kennedy was not done by the man convicted for it, and it was instead perpetrated by powerful political enemies.

China doesn't exist - This one might be unique to LinuxJon. He believes that China doesn't exist and was simply made up to provide America with an enemy.

The Illumanti - Several people believe in the existence of a very powerful secret society that runs the entire world's governments and also takes part of a lot of social engineering. Sometimes people believe it's another power-group, or that there are a few.

Not included in poll because I didn't think of it:

Reptile Aliens Rule the World - Basically a different take on the NWO/Illumanti conspiracy except that the ruling class are aliens.

Dinosaurs Don't Exist - I believe this is mostly from creationists that don't believe the alleged physical evidence.

Fake Moon Landing - Many people people that we (as a species) have not gone into space at all and the moon landings were faked.

Roswell - People that want to be leaf think that there was a government conspiracy to cover up an alien crash landing in Roswell.

Fluoride - An alarmingly popular belief is that the reason that fluoride is in municipal tap water, similar to chemtrails, is to control the population.

Honey Bees - As chemtrails and fluoride, some people believe that the recent large bee deaths are a method of population control since bees are so important to agriculture. This is often combined with the chemtrail theory by the assumption that the agent killing the bees is dispersed by planes.

I definitely know some people IRL that believe in 9/11, the kennedy assassination, and chemtrails without associating them with the illuminati. I agree that believing in one often means believing in several though.

I believe the Illuminati is often tied to the Jews. IIRC the real Illuminati was a group of scholars that created a secret society to avoid Christian persecution.

11-22-63 series goes down the Kennedy rabbit hole like it's real history, very believable and the general public can jump on it. Everything else is pretty far down the conspiracy spectrum that you have to be a little cracked to believe it.

Several of my friends are firmly convinced that 9/11 was orchestrated by the US. That one isn't that far outside of mainstream opinion.
