Brock RESPECTED the power of Mark Hunt, He needed to as well. He looked better on the feet, I mean more comfortable but he doesn't want to trade punches with a feared striker like that. Overall I'm satisfied with his performance.

He dumped Hunt a few times....well duh, I guess even for those who didn't see the fight, it'd be pretty obvious they're on the ground because Brock took him there.

MMA community cant disrespect a guy whos been out for 5 years and is currently doing entertainment wrestling and getting the W in the highest level of MMA.

His wwe character deserves to be untouchable at this point

When Lesnar came out to metallica over his wwe theme i was disappointed

then he is announced as fighting out of canada and I'm like

then he turns in a lackluster fight, where granted he did perform and survive hunt, he largely layed on top of him and gave those ****gy hammerfists for most of his offence. there is nothing exciting about that, but that great Canadian knows what he's doing

Brock worked Hunt on the ground, didn't need to be stood up once, didn't get heavily booed for it because he kept working. He took him down, manhandled him, advanced positions and punished him with fists. The Cormier/Anderson fight is what you must be thinking of, that was lay and pray. Brock did not lay and pray.

Impressive 5 years and he beats a top 10 HW (#8 I believe)

He should have been slamming/grinding his elbow into Mark's face in this GIF instead of pitter patter shots.

A win over Hunt is something to be proud of. Some of those take down attempts looked so sloppy/telegraphed, but he got the job done. I wonder if he'll fight on the MSG card. Brock could be 1 fight away from a title shot, or even an immediate one if he fills in short notice to cover Cain's inevitable injury, if he gets the next shot after Overeem.

I second, Hunt isn't primarly based wrestler and even he was even able to avoid takedowns at times.

I'm pretty sure his camp are continuing to working on setting up take downs and striking defense with him.

Definately like that he was light on his feet. Most heavyweights aren't.
