Got caught w/ an Escort Sting Operation. (Srs)(HELP)

Title. Today I got caught in a sting operation. Long Story short, called the chick up, and she was asking questions like if I had condoms, I said no, and then she said she charges extra for barebacking, and then I replied "i'm clean", and then I ask to use the showers, and once everything was "agreed", 5 cops busted in and put me in cuffs, and searched me, I was shirtless at the time, because I was heading to the showers. And my excuse was I thought it was a stripper/strip tease.

So at this point I thought I was screwed for life and going to jail, and my parents finding out. I am worried because I just got accepted into a college and i'm scared it's going to affect that. Then they took me to another room; the room had cameras of the other room I was in recording everything, and I talked to the officer respectfully, and he took the cuffs off me. And then he read me my miranda rights and wrote me a ticket/summons, and told me my court date. I REMAINED SILENT and didn't talk. AND I was happy I didn't go to jail, and he gave me back the money and my keys and let me go home. because I wouldn't want my parents knowing and wouldn't know who to call to bail me out. I have also saw other guys getting busted also.

MISC would should I do? Please help me, I know this chit I did was pathetic. This is a misdemeanor, and I can't afford a lawyer, should I get use the lawyer they going to provide me if I can't get one? How would I argue this in court?

- I never mentioned anything about sex/intercouse during the act
- She asked me if I had condoms, I mentioned no. So could I argue that If I was there for the escort, wouldn't I bring condoms?
- She asked me she charges more for bareback, and I told her I'm clean tho. And then she told me to take a condom out of a bag to use, but I didn't pick on out
- I was shirtless @ the time, because I was getting ready to hit the showers, until the LE posted in.

CLIFFS:

- OP called up an escort

- OP went up to the room

- OP then wanted "short stay"

- OP didn't mentioned how much money for the service

- The undercover girl then asked if I brought condoms, I said no

- She then told me to pick out a condom from her back, and I didn't, and told her that I'm clean

- she then mentioned she charges more for bareback, and then we "agreed"

- then I went to head to the showers, right after i took my shirt off, the feds busted in and cuffed me

- OP's statement was that he thought it was a stripper/striptease

- Feds then took OP to another room, (THE ROOM HAD CAMERAS OF THE OTHER ROOM RECORDING THE WHOLE THING). OP was being respectful and well mannered

- Cops then read OP his rights, and OP remained silent

- Cop then gave OP back his money and keys and let him go home, and not jail.


MISC PLEASE HELP ME, How could I argue this in court? It's a misdemeanor, and also I'm thinking about using the lawyer and attorney they're going to provide me because I can't afford one. What could happened to me? please,in for srs answers. LAW STUDENT BRAHS and LAWYER BRAHS please help me out. Idk what to do, I'm heading off to college soon in August, and my court date is on August 30th, so i'm going to go down the office to change the date to an earlier date.

This is srs, I just don't want my parents finding out, will this affect me with college? Because I'm going to go down in August, should I use the lawyer/attorney they're going to give me because I can't afford one? And also this is a misdemeanor which can't be expunge and taking off your record.

I've saw other dudes who got busted in this sting taken to jail, but the cop let me go home for speaking respectfully, and I also remained silent. Was crying in the car because I couldn't imagine my parents finding out and going to jail.

Suck it up and tell your folks...and get a good lawyer. I don't know about your state, but here, a conviction for this I think puts you on the sex offender registry. You DEFINITELY don't want that.
