I was lucky enough to be chosen to helptest out Project F, a preworkout from Animal.
I received 2 tubs, each containing 5 servings
A little about your host for the next few weeks. I have been lifting off and on for a while. finally feel I am doing well and making progress. Ive done 4 PL meets and have another one coming up at the end of July. I have lost 30+ pounds this year so my lifts are down, don't judge me too much. I'll be using the next meet to get good 1rm at this lower body weight.

decided to start with the fruit punch flavor because it was going to be really good or.really meh. it was pretty good, I'm sure it will grow on me some. Imagine tropical punch koolaid but not sweet.

Today I ate shortly before taking Project F. I noticed a gradual onset of energy, but the instant buzz I had the day before. Focus was good again, my workout partner wanted to talk and I was like please just put your music on and STFU. The pump wasn't as intense as it was in my shoulders the first day, but to be fair I usually feel it more in the upper body anyway. During leg curls my hammies definitely got the pump aspect, it wasn't the super uncomfortable one but after about 4-6 reps in I could really feel the pump in my legs.
After the gym I was tired but my brain was alert and still ready to do stuff. I haven't taken a pre-workout regularly in quite a while and I used to be a major stim junkie, the more hopped up I felt the more I liked it. I would say if you aren't a regular user than you probably shouldn't take this late in the evening because falling asleep was a chore last night.

finished Project F at 745 (empty stomach) , in the gym at 810. Day 1 I had some pretty intense tingles, especially in my lips arms and face. Day 2 there was a little bit on my lips while drinking Project F and a little bit on my face wen warming up. Day 3 just a little lip tingle that went away fast. I wouldn't describe the pump factor as an actual pump, you know when you are going and then holy sh!t this is so intense and kind of hurts type of pump. It is more of a gradual feeling of muscle fullness. I'm sure the people that are obsessed with the insane pump factor wouldn't be too impressed

Mixed 1 full scoop instead of "slightly less than 1 scoop" with 9 oz of water. The mixability was still good with decreased water, flavor was really tart with decreased water. Didn't really have any focus benefits today, had a boost in energy but I think the other benefits may have been derailed as I had to wait 30 minutes for a rack to open up felt some muscle fullness after the gym, especially in my glutes but still not the crazy painful pump so many people look for.

Mild tingles around my lips while drinking and very mild on my forearms while at the gym. Great focus tonight, was able to really focus on my muscle movement and it felt good. The only downside to the focus is if you get sidetracked like I often do then sometimes you get too focused on what is side tracking you instead of what you're supposed to be doing. Energy was good, I was super hyper for the first 20-30 minutes at the gym and then it calmed down into the nice smooth energy I had experienced with the other doses of Project F. I think I have one more serving of fruit punch and then I get to move on to green apple. Flavor I would give it a 6.5-7/10 I like that it isn't super sweet and it doesn't have the cough medicine taste some other fruity flavors can carry. When you decrease the amount of water you use the flavor is very intense and verty tart making it more of a challenge to drink. So if you follow the directions it's like dirnking fruit punch koolaid without sugar in it.

The first dose of this was pretty intense energy wise. It gradually set it but once it did I was so hyper and energetic it was awesome. After the first dose I still had a good steady energy but it wasn't as intense which was a bit of a bummer. I still liked it though because sometimes after 12 hours of work and it's still a million degrees outside the last thing you want to go is go be active but it helped me push through.
The focus was on point. It gradually set in and i'd usually find around the 45 minute mark is when I'd be so focused on what I was doing I wasn't paying attention to anything around me. On the nights the gym is packed this is good so I don't get distracted people watching haha. Probably one of the best focus products I've ever had
How were muscle pumps during the workout?
Few and far between, even on days when I was doing higher rep with accessories I expected that almost painful pump feeling and was a bit disappointed. I do think my muscles felt "more full" if that makes sense, I guess like I got the benefit of the pump without the weird feeling of it. I don't know how else to explain it.
Would you like to see this prototype get launched?
I think it would be great to sell and market as an energy and focus preworkout but not so much something to create the pump so many people seek

don't laugh at this weight, the cable machine weight variances are insane. Put this on 60 and struggled to push it down, 48 was barely budging so 36 it was. the other sides are way lighter.
Took 1 scoop with 10 oz of water again. I love the taste, it's smooth and has a nice balance of sweet and tart. Took this about 20 minutes before the gym but I think that helped me not waste the benefits while rolling and warming up. I as a whole felt weak and things felt off last night. I had great energy and kept wanting to push more but my body wasn't cooperating. Still an intense amazing focus and I kind of wish I would have had this to take while in class because it really helps me focus. Definitely felt a good pump during rear delt work and tricep work. slight chest pump during the dbell work, but it definitely felt full after the workout. Not sure if the 2 flavors have a slight formulation variance but I feel the apple one is doing what it was meant to do.
