Long cliffs-ish so far of my time in Oregon and Washington
Oregon rest stops are fukin disgusting. Absolute poverty compared to CA stops.
Oregon drivers are slow as fuk
Oregon drivers are also the nicest asswholes I've seen. I was doing like 85 and was coming up behind this dude in the fast lane of a two lane freeway. There was a car next to him in the slow lane. I wasn't even that close to him when he practically slammed on his brakes and sharply veered into the slow lane to let me pass. As I pass he flips me off. Tf
Chick-fil-A is tier 0 hnnnnng
Portland seems pretty sweet from what I've seen so far
The Columbia River Gorge is absolutely pissening
We successfully summited Mt. Adams (second highest mountain in WA) yesterday. Weather was absolute chit, practically no visibility most of the climb, couldn't see anything from the summit.
Saw a fukin helicopter technically crash, srs. A blackhawk flew up to rescue some climbers. He left and about 20 minutes later returned with a normal news type helicopter to pick up more climbers. I had just scaled down a pretty steep slope and was at a flat section when the news helicopter looped over me and towards the slope. He then lost control and spun three or four times and fell out of the sky. He impacted the slope pretty hard and then turned down the slope and was able to regain control. He was flying right at me and I thought he was going to crash into me. He flew right over and one of the landing gear skids was all fuked up and hanging down. Not sure how he eventually landed but it was absolutely insane to see, still can't believe what I saw. The way he impacted I thought for sure he was going to roll down that face and get rekt.
Anyway, not really sure what is in store for this week. Saturday I'm climbing Mt. Hood.Misc Firearms Crew

I enjoy CFA, but it is over priced for what it is...plain chicken sandwich and a few waffle fries for like 7-8 bucks? nickle please. I try to avoid choosing places to eat at that I can easily make myself, burgers are probably the top of the list
and out of state plates going 20 mph over....surprised he didnt get a ticket

Yes you can go to the store and buy one. However I would suggest finding a gun/rifle club around you and seeing if you can rent some to try first. Also check into some classes and or go with friends. It is an investment so find out what you like and how to safely use it before purchasing

Damn, too slow. I edited my post...bb.com is always skipping over posts when I click the "first new" tab or whatever
You're kind of ****ed in Cali. You'll need to get some commi guys to explain what it is you can actually legally get, and what hoops you have to jump through, this month

For the Denver contingent . . . I checked out that big Breckenridge Brewery on Santa Fe over the weekend. Was pretty cool. They have a big restaurant, a beer garden, a huge outdoor area with big fire pits, and brewery tours/tasting. Will have to check out the tour someday. Also said they were going to start an outdoor concert series.
