Let's be honest here, Trump isn't exactly "the government" as that term usually applies lol

Trump is the president I am not sure what your point is.
A repost of what I wrote this morning in another thread on the same topic.
...The Media is not to be trusted any more than the three branches of government are. The problems arise when people rely only on a narrow selection of information sources that fit their own narratives and agendas.
I do think that Trump has a bit of a point, although I have no faith in his motives. If the mainstream media has such a level of control over the country it's because most Americans are ignorant of history, politics, science, and so on, and are not particularly interested in learning. So if the mainstream media lost its power, it's not like Americans would suddenly start observing reality using the scientific method, reading widely, and using logic to discriminate between more plausible and less plausible theories. They'd be more likely to just read more tabloid-level stuff instead. And instead of falling prey to mainstream media propaganda, they would instead just fall prey to other sources of propaganda instead.

Maybe I should have included the whole post.
I think that to label "the media" as the enemy is too broad. It's not an entity in the sense that it has an agenda. It is a teeming multitude of entities, many with singular agendas, and many with multifaceted agendas, and many with confused agendas.
And there is a need for all types of these, and that the Media in the sense of entities that inform the people of what is happening in government, business and society, is a part of a healthy and functioning republic. The Media is not to be trusted any more than the three branches of government are. The problems arise when people rely only on a narrow selection of information sources that fit their own narratives and agendas...

I have been listening for the past 18 months to him as a candidate and president. For the most part all I have seen and heard is Trump selling cheap and easy explanations for people's economic struggles and of grand big government solutions pushed through by executive will. Not that I would have expected much different from Clinton. In fact, I voted for Johnson but if I thought my state was in doubt I would have thought about voting for Trump. Getting Gorusch on the Supreme Court instead of a Clinton nominee would be the only reason.

"Shaq was a sh!tty free throw shooter, he missed dunks, he airballed free throws, he couldn’t shoot outside the paint. He was bigger than everyone, didn’t have no skill, bigger and stronger than everyone."
Here you go Kev. 61 points & 28 rebounds.
Would take prime Shaq over serial choker Durant any day.

Kev needs to go back and watch Shaq's rookie season when he wasn't the biggest or strongest in a league stacked with big men.
Averaged 23.4 points, 13.9 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game @ 20 years old.
Jelly of his rings, finals MVPs, dominance, etc. I guess it's fun to sit back and shoot 3s like a sniper... until you've got a 3-1 lead.

How precious are today's players? Even team owners have to wrap them in cotton wool and fight their battles.
Bleacher Report tweets a video of Dirk Nowitzki tossing up an air ball with the caption "Dirk Forever."
Mr. Shark Tank rips into the Turner president and instructs him to have the site take it down. Even copies in the NBA commissioner.
Then comes the apology.
"Earlier today we deleted a tweet about Dirk Nowitzki. Dirk is an NBA legend in our eyes and will be forever."

Only thing I suppose I agree with kevin choke is Shaq's embarrassing 52% free throw %.
Here's a legendary Rick Barry instructional vid from 10 years ago. This year one of his boys is shooting 89.9% at the University of Florida.
Mr. shark tank is such a pos. He goes from one embarrassment to the next.

I understand Durant is his teammate but he is trying to defend a guy who can't even start over Zaza. Besides, if Shaq could have made like 75-80 for his career free throws, there is no doubt he is in contention for the best big man of all time, and 1-3 on greatest of all time, imo.
Cuban is such a jackass. He needs to get over himself. I'm sure Dirk himself laughed at that.Donate to St. Jude: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=173739861&page=1

I've never had any issues of carrying unwanted fat until my sometime in my 30s, so I don't have a ton of experience in this. In the past I've dieted before and never had sustainable success. Probably because I didn't stick with it. But I've ALWAYS had success when doing (almost) daily cardio. It's very calculated, with a long term vision. My goal won't even be met until summer, and even then I'll still have to do some cardio (2-3 days?) to sustain. Ahh gettin older.
How bout those turds on the left not standing and clapping to unite for the prosperity and strength of the American people. Wish they'd go to canadia as promised.DR. 3time

I definitely get that. I really was quite a crappy dieter in the past, but have been pretty damn consistent on keto. I plan to add carbs back when I reach my goal weight (I'll post pics, esp for you Lencho ), but still monitor calories/do cardio, and not eat a ton of carbs but just a meal of them a day or every other day. I still do daily cardio with keto, so I'll probably keep that up to around 5-7 times a week at the end of lifts after I reach my goal too.
Myfitnesspal has been used more than ever by me this on diet, and I am viewing it more of a lifestyle now instead of just a diet since I definitely feel healthier with all my cardio and new eating habits. Honestly, I wouldn't even recommend keto for you. I would just keep going with what is obviously working for you, and when it stalls, play around with what food you are fine giving up and how it effects your weight loss.
I need to start lifting again soon, pretty swamped so only doing cardio right now but definitely will start hitting it hard when I get a bit leaner.Donate to St. Jude: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=173739861&page=1

Exactly right. I understand a good diet or even keto plan might make logical sense, but haven't found it to work for me whenever I was on a fat loss goal. Cardio says it only burns 450 cals or so, but can't ignore results. Like you said, cardio makes ya feel good, dieting doesn't, I likes me food. Just like I tell my sales boys, I don't push what's best, but what they're best at doing and can happily sustain long term. Suppose if I was a massive fadas I'd have no choice but to do both idk. Sounds like you found what's working for you too.

Yeah, I enjoy my share of food as well. I had a problem of just overeating, in general, and huge portions which I am overcoming with keto since I start to recognize the impact of every part of a meal. I think my appetite has shrank a bit so I get fuller with less food, so that is definitely a plus from this weight loss.
Anyways, so Cavs now have Deron Williams, Korver, Derrick Williams, and Bogut coming off the bench. Not bad.Donate to St. Jude: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=173739861&page=1
