21st century humans are acclimatised to sitting around most of the day.
Also, running around =/= lifting weights. Lifting weights is very fatiguing for many reasons, running is not comparable because it hardly drains your CNS. 5x5 is tough and you need to eat a lot because it's high volume and you're a beginner so you're not used to training every 2nd day.to the best!

You have got to make sure your nutrition is in check but you also need to understand that your body needs time to recover.
If you're going to do 5X5 and want to do cardio keep it to low intensity and again make sure you're getting everything your body needs to be in the optimal condition for recovery at all times.

Humans are capable of working hard with little recovery, we are amazing at adapting and thats what make us so great srs. Honestly, our lifting programs are nothing compared to the people who work hard labor jobs from sunrise to sunset. You're feeling tired because your body is adapting, keep grinding that **** and eventually you'll be less tired

I go HAM on chest and fluff my way thru legs... I do normal on back... so it's all balanced
just pick the day you hate and do fluffy workouts
