Living on your own sucks, it's boring as hell and if you live with friends good bye to a lot of your food and 'no one' knows where it has gone. You lose friends living with friends.

I have lived on my own for 5+ years and my girlfriend has been living with me for about 5 months now while she waits till her place with her friends is ready in August. I can honestly say that I love living with her. We get along very well living together honestly and have had no major fights. We give each other plenty of space though and work pretty different hours so it all works out.
nah bro im sweet

OP I'm in a similar situation.
Been with my girl for a year and we're moving in together in July. She stayed at my place 3-4 times a week. I just figured instead of getting a roommate it'd be better if it was my gf.
She's clean, smart, loyal, etc... I'm the same way. We're both super clean.
If you're confident in yourself and you know you're a clean guy and you guys communicate all your problems...then I don't see why it'd be a problem.++ Positive Crew ++

well thinking of moving back home, finding full time work cause I just graduated, then I want to move in together in october when her lease runs out. with no room mate and more space somewhere else.
cliffs are:
she wants me to move in.
I do
she pays my rent
had to get a housemate to pay the other half
I don't feel comfortable with the situation at all
only 1 car bay, so we have to share a car.
2 bed apartment in city, 1 living area.
ect ect

I've been living with my girlfriend since 2012, been together since 2008 LOL, we moved in together when I was 20 and she was 19, chits all good, I'm never lonely or get bored, always someone to chill with but fck she's a bad cook lol, cooks the most basic things, like mash potatoes and sausages, I do all the legit cooking, cleaning is 25/75 with me being the lazy one, we sleep on the same bed, practically do it anytime, anywhere, have watched literally every movie worth watching so we struggle to find new movies to download, go gym 4-5 days per week and play soccer and tennis numerous times a week, I do miss the days when we didn't see each other 24-7, I would have maybe not wanted to live together at such a young age :/

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

that's the dumbest **** I've ever heard. so your saying you should only move in with a woman if your going to marry her? what if you move in after the wedding and u hate how she lives. or you realize you cant spend that much time together without her pissing you off. moving in before marriage is the best way to test if it will work out.
op if your srs about the relationship go for it and see how it goes.
edit: lol and that's why you should test the waters. now you can move on to the next. time to move back home boyo"I dont mean bitch in a disrespectful way, I mean bitch as a general term for women" Kratos, son of Zues

If she's supporting you then good, she wants to see you achieve your goals. If not she wants you to pay half her rent in exchange for a little poosey, in this case your making it easier for her to get laid. Which guy wouldn't jump at an opportunity to bang a chick who lives with her bf especially if the girl is saying she only wants to take it and never talk after

This is exactly what I want to do. The situation is a reverse cuckhold though. The apartment is expensive and she wants to be with me. So she pays my rent.
I explained several times to wait until i get my career going and then ill find a house and we can move in together...
The housemate. The previous one we were mutual friends with...but he moved to be with his girlfriend in UK. So now we got a female housemate, i moved in during the meantime so she wasnt by herself and she got attached and I ended up moving in.
That's the situation.
Im prob gonna go back home. I dont like a housemate...never had one. I want to start my career and save for a deposit on a house
