rory should have shot for more takedowns instead of imanari rolls. he also needed to open up a bit more, he was way to tentative. the time stephen was against the cage rory had opportunities to utilize it for a takedown attempt. overall i didn't expect rory to stand with thompson the majority of the time. i knew this fight wasn't going to be easy for rory from the get go. rory is capable of performing better than what he did today. maybe its because he was a bit rusty but idk. it would be sad to see rory go and test free agency. he is a potential future champ at welterweight and it would suck not seeing him in the ufc.

Man that was a terrible game plan by Rory/Firas. IMO they should've pushed the pace and tried to pin him against the fight and work the takedown from there. What was up with him sticking his arms out instead of jabbing?
