Between Christina Grimmie and the club shooting last night, something once again has to be done.


Gun nuts will have you believe that guns and never the problem and its only people. While people are indeed part of the problem, guns are an easy vehicle for those people to carry out their actions.


But if guns were banned, they would have just killed them with a knife! Look at all the knife attacks around the world in gun free countries!. First off, there aren't nearly as many knife attacks as there are guns. Gun nuts would have you believe everyone in Europe is walking around like its the 1300s with swords at their sides. Lets look at Christine Grimmie, dead even when her brother was there to stop the prep. Why? Because guns are an easy and quick way to murder someone. Less than a month ago Japanese singer Mayu Tomita was stabbed 20 times by a crazed fan and is making a recovery currently. Would Grimmie had survived a knife attack? No one knows for sure, but unless you're an idiot you know it would have increased her odds.


Knives are still just as dangerous! Then why don't you carry a sword around to protect your house? Or the chipotle you feel need to CC in? or to hunt? Why doesn't the military trade in all their guns in favor of sabers?


If there were MORE guns and less gun free zones we would be safer! Lets look at the Orlando, 20 dead 42 injured. I'm going to venture to say that this was a gun free zone and he broke the law carrying his arsenal in. An armed trained officer was working the venue and guess what? Sadly it didn't matter. But gun nuts will have you believe hillbilly Joe with his camo glock will be able to take down any threat, before the threat even knows they are a threat. Another prime example is the Columbine shootings, officer right there the moment the action started and was powerless to stop them.




I would love for the gun nuts to tell me what the solution is. And you can shove that "don't sell to crazy people!" right up your ass. Unless a shrink says your crazy you can still buy the gun and how many Americans are attending shrinks. Unless your purposing the ATF does like a year long screening before you buy a gun, interviewing everyone you interact with AND then checking up on you to make sure you haven't gone crazy. If that's the case you should be first in line for this new stupid program.

Besides my time spent in the Marine Corps, I've been a cop, now detective in our nation's capital. Pretty strick gun laws yet our homicide rate is higher then this time last year. I still have robbery cases involving knifes. So we ban guns? Then we will ban knives just a matter of time. I wish a law abiding citizen had a firearm when they became a victim of a robbery so maybe they would have had a chance to stop some POS from putting them through a scary situation.

Another "Gun Free Zone," another mass shooting. Has it ever occurred to you that the outcome would have been far different if the patrons of that club had been armed? But of course, if someone had been armed and stopped this, we would have never even heard about it (unless you live in Orlando). The shooter had ties to... TADA!... radical Islam.

So now we'll get to hear the politicians preach about how we need stricter gun control and how we need to keep the borders wide open, because "that's who we are!!!"

Armed patrons in the vicinity of the shooting would not nullify the perpetrators, who come prepared, it would simply result in more deaths. More guns = longer gun battle, more crossfire, more bullets, more death.
