Pitbulls are bred/raised as fighting dogs. However Wolves survive by being the literal fittest/strongest. They are extremely intelligent and routinely hunt/kill large animals. Furthermore an Alpha wolf will do his fair share of fighting other wolves. A wolf will be a lot larger and will have far more endurance. A pit on juice that has been exercised properly might be a little stronger P4P but would likely tire before a wolf. Wolves can literally run all day if need be then enter a fight to the death that evening.






Also lets not forget a wolf has thick fur. I doubt if a Pit could make a lethal bite on the throat unless its lucky.

Gray wolves are nearly twice as large on average, MUCH faster, more agile, stronger, have thick protective coats, routinely fight for dominance against other wolves, hunt gigantic prey animals, and they have much larger teeth.

A large gray wolf versus a pure pitbull and the wolf has practically zero chance of losing, it'd have to lay down and die.
