    Need bodyfat estimation, but also help getting past plateau in weight loss

    I'm 27 5'8" guy. I fit in 31" and 32" pants comfortably. Measuring waist gives me like 33" and 34.5" for stomach. So I have this 1.5" fat deposit that is highlighted very well in my mirror lights (in friends house mirror, I look a lot more fit). My plan is to cut to whatever bodyfat needed for abs and flat-stomach (even if abs aren't gonna be perfect). If I can get rid of these childhood fat first, then bulking will come much easier and I can make sure I'm not adding on too much fat.

    Please note: my genetics are a bit weird, my brother is same height but stores fat on his backside & love-handles and so he looks like flatter stomach despite being 12 lbs more fatty than me. I seem to store it right above waist and in love-handles. Grandpa also has weird boobs like me too.

    I haven't bulked a lot, so bear in mind, I haven't had years of working out on a bulk. I've almost always worked out on deficit so progress in weights can be glacial slow.

    Photos taken at 144 lbs. I probably have a bit of water-retention and maybe too much sodium. I love salt so much, so I have had trouble giving it up and I don't drink as much water as I should. A lot of my snacks are salty nuts and stuff.

    Background (and bulk period):

    Through dieting and some gym I went down from 184 lbs to 160 lbs a few years back.

    Starting 2014, I got a real gym membership and weight lifting 3x-per-week (since 2014). Bulked a bit at around 2800 cals for about a year or two.

    Around March 2016, I started cutting again.

    March 2016 to now... I got down to 142 lbs. (today 144 lbs).

    Cut

    My cuts consist of 1100 cals some days to 1400 cals other days mainly because of protein shake on workout days (these are all properly calculated with TDEE in check aiming for -400-600 cals deficit for weight loss), and some days I go out to eat but try to compensate by eating less snacks or other empty cals that day.

    I've never done much cardio, but I'm really considering it to get through the plateau.

    It could be because of vacation in May, that is why I stalled in May 2016 (142 lbs to 148 lbs and today back to 144 lbs).
