seems like if you don't have a great career making lots of money and a woman by your side at this point, society makes you feel inadequate and the pressure gets to you and it can feel like it's too late to turn your life around. f'n normies.

I now understand why so many guys kill themselves in their late 20s/early 30s

yep, I've always put 28 as the cut off point. If i'm 28 and unhappy with my life, i'll kill myself.
I'm too young right now to make such a foolish decision, and if I wait longer than 28, i'll probably find myself with a wife and kids.. I would never put my kids through something like that. So I think 28 a good age, if I haven't got my chit together by then, I doubt I ever will, so why continue living meaninglessly.

Word. Feel like such a loser most days.
It's that age where reality sets in that you aren't sh*t and never will be. The best you can hope to be is upper middle class, but nothing significant enough for anyone to really care. When you're younger in your early 20's you still have hopes and dreams. No matter how unlikely you think you'll be the one to be ballin' eventually or land that perfect girl that is incredibly beautiful with good morals and down to earth
At our age though that hope really evaporates quite harshly.
It's not so much that there's pressure. It's more your life was a total disappointment."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Except that all statistics show that males aged ~40-59 have by far the highest suicide rate, which kind of disproves your entire notion of "so many guys in their late 20's/early 30's killing themselves". In most countries, suicide rates increase with age. In a country like South Korea (which last I checked had the highest suicide rate in the world), the highest suicide rate is actually held by the elderly.

Fuk outta here wit dat shet.
It is not set in stone that I have to do something for other people to see.
I'm 25 and have no job, no car, nothing. Just a messy haircut and a beard. Laying on my bed with a hangover in my underwear. Yes, you guessed it, no one likes me.
I don't care anymore about why I turned out to be the exception, because people didn't want me to "win." Now that I don't care, they are all on my dick. I don't know how to get the **** out of this mess, without someone trying to cheat me of my happiness.

Nobody has to do anything. All the chit you got told as a child like you will be a astronaut or pop star was all a cringy lie.
Most people will never amount to anybody. And the ones that do make it big where already selected at birth due to family connections or $$$.Keep rep trading out of your sig line miss

You have no idea. My life has been that way for 5 years now. Complete udder ****, and the only reason is over a ****ing car. A stupid materialistic object, and that's that, right? Wrong. Everyone in my family went ape**** offended by me because I didn't let them get under my skin. Now I know what its like to be Kobe Bryant.

i don't know these feels. i have no gf, an average earning job, and a fuuck ton of hobbies and interests and I have never been happier.
dont care if I'm still in college at 25, don't care if I don't have wife material waiting in bed for me, don't care about where I should have advanced to or where I should be. in this moment, I am happy and livin' and that's frankly all I need to be happy.

My entire immediate and extended family have been trying to kick me out for years, at first subtly, then force, and now passive aggressive pressure. Why I couldn't have parents that could have actually fullfulled the definition of "parents" is beyond me, for that they only thing they never tried was a direct approach. Lots of jealousy in this household. I don't know how I manage anymore.

Stay in your own lane. COmparing yourself to others and doign the keep of with the joneses chit is for women, thats why they are always unhappy and want more.
Stick to your own goals, think about yourself. Seeing other people make it should light your fire and inspire you to make your own reality great, not depress you

Did you put the work in? Or you spent your youth fooling around and partying.
I hear so many guys age 30 complain about how life sucks making an average salary and average life, but they never had the work ethic to do anything that they will benefit when they are older. They would rather go out and party instead of studying. Those things catch up to you when you waste your youth partying and you look at the guys who took school seriously and are now making 200K+ at age 30 when you are sitting around making 50K.
Let's face it guys, unless you are a pro athlete or extremely lucky and succeed in other fields (music, acting ect), you will have to work like a slave if you want to make money. If you wanna start your own business you will most likely have to work like a slave and have some luck. Other ways to make it are through school, law school, engineering, med school all those field will make you earn money, but you will have to sacrifice a lot.
You can also go to college learn a trade and do a decent living.
The cold truth is most people are made to be average. That's just how it is. It might sound depressing but it's the truth.

Brah theres always 30+ year olds failing and starting over til they finally get it right. Always dudes bouncing back from divorce after losing everything. You have the internet, books, technology. If anything, get out there and do research.
The only old dudes that fail are the people who "stay traditional" and bag on the modern era. Stay away from baby boomers, they are toxic. Older guys who see potential in new things get successful over and over again

Even though I've had more success with women in the past 2 years than I did in the previous 34, I still feel like I'm "supposed" to be alone, and will never meet the right woman. Women unequivocally flake out/lose interest. I know it's gotta be something I'm doing wrong.. I'm sure I'm way too boring.. Just seems to be inevitable. Fighting against it just feels futile and makes serves to make me feel even more ineffectual.
TL;DR: It's a bitch."That boulder is too large. I could lift a smaller one."

Trust me I put in the work.
LOL at 30 year olds making 200k cause they put in the work. We misc-stating again I see. If you're in the 90th percentile at age 35 you're making 88k. I don't know where some of you pull numbers out from but if you think it's all a matter of "putting in the work" to make 200k you're so far out of touch with reality it's not even funny.
If you have that kind of salary then great. But I can promise it isn't solely because you put in the work and no one else did. If you think it is you need a reality check.

How do you think it feels to have parents who change their personalities on no grounds? my parents are so psychotic that the cops that they told to arrest me were laughing at them for being so stupid.
my parents get mad at me when I solve the problems they create, and then just create more. oh lawd, when will I get rid of jealousy?
