My skin has started breaking out, my back, shoulders and face. I'm not taking any pro hormones or supplements aside from my usual protein.
Could this be a result of a calorie increase? My skin hasn't done this before.

Increasing calories shouldn't be the cause.
Are you working out more (causing more sweat)?
More stressed than usual?
Time of month?
Change in medication?

Increased stress? Soap changes? Lotion changes? Detergent changes? Could be a number of things; I second the doc/derm motion if it's of a severe nature
