Is Cambridge, Massachusetts considered a part of Boston? If so, no.
The sole reason being that MIT is there. MIT, where gods among men walk.*drinks breast milk crew* *boob connoisseur crew* *trades turned into long term investments for 2020 crew* *Death metal crew* *manlet crew* *spiritually 6'2 crew* *electrician master race crew*

Drivers are worse in DC trust me brah. I lived in Boston for 30+ years but live in DC for the last 4.
Construction - yes it's always like that.
The rudeness thing is a combination of tounge in cheeck and just being straightforward. Have to be from there to get it but all I can say is people aren't fake at least. i.e. in the South people who don't even know you wave at you and ACT like they're your friend when they're not. Meanwhile in Boston your best friends give you the finger as a greeting and say "what the fuk are you doin' here ya bastaahd?"
Cops are pricks everywhere. You get a ticket?
It's Friday night. Go to Fanuel Hall. Go to Landsdown St. There should be tons of chit going on. srsYou rock a piss, I'm gonna rock some Mitchell

Because almost everything - all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.

Wish I could disagree OP, but if it were not for the cost of living, the weather, the taxes, the politics, the traffic, and the Mass Holes, would be a great place to live! I'm leaving MA for those and other reasons.
Boston does have some of the top Unis, hospitals, and bio tech, etc, and if you're there for that stuff it's a good place, but I find it lacking on too many levels to justify staying in MA.
I used to care about the "character" and history and such, but end of the day, it does not make up for the deficiencies.BrinkZone, Where Bro-Science Got Rabies and Died!
