Results from overtraining/undereating??

January 1st I quit drinking and have been doing some hardcore cutting.
My daily caloric intake is anywhere between 1200-1300 calories a day--and that has been diff to achieve(I have always had a habit of taking in less despite knowing it's wrong)...

my daily diet:
6am 2 pcs whole wheat bread with one tablespoon natty pb
1 packet low sugar oatmeal

9am apple, banana or kashi bar

12pm 2 pcs grilled chicken breast
1 cup fat free cottage cheese

3pm 1 sm-med apple(not often) or 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese or one packet of tuna plain

8pm 4 egg whites on whole wheat bread with 1 pc fat free amer cheese or 1 grilled chicken breast with spinach

10pm usually have an apple if i havent already had one or a banana

I workout 5-6 days per week....45-60 minutes of cardio per day(no slacking) with 30 minutes of chosen bodyparts that day for weight lifting

Now down to the question....I have had "spells" of nearly passing out, feeling sick to stomach, fatiqued and I get anxious and nervous when this happens as well(basically freaks me out) This has been going on for a few months...I am not pregnant and otherwise have always had a clean bill of health. I am currently 23 5'6 around 135-145lbs is what I stay between....Typically after a few hours pass and I eat, I begin feeling better-which of course might show that I'm not taking in enough.

I'm not sure if these spells could be due to the fact of not intaking enough calories for the amount of working out I do(very high intensity)...

I do have a dr's appt scheduled for Friday just to check everything out...but wondered if anyone has experienced this...

Thank you for any responses

Defiinitely too little calories for your activity level. Obviously, if eating makes you feel better, you should be eating more. I was doing the same thing for a long time and also felt light headed and dizzy, anxious, irritable. Glad to see you're going to a doctor about it!

i suggest going to your doctor and getting some blood work done.
it could be your sugar levels or other lack of needed nutrients.
also make sure since you arent having a big variety of foods, to take a multi vtmn every day.

let us know what the doc says.

Your blood sugar is dipping because you are not eating enough. I would also look over your diet again and cut out all the extra processed foods.

Example, why do you eat a packet of low sugar oatmeal? Switch to plain old fashioned oats. The know the packet may be simple to make but in the long run it's not as good and it's just as easy to measure out plain oats and boil.

Also your diet isn't balanced. You should be eating protein, carbs and fat at each meal. 9am, 3pm and 10pm are not complete meals.

Apples are great they are a good source of fiber and are your carbs but there isn't any protein or fat with it.
