Good shoot. Nothing to see here. And lol at taser. Let's meet deadly force with non deadly force. Put ourselves at a disadvantage.

This.
Could he have tried to taser her? Yes.
But play stupid games win stupid prizes. I'm completely okay with someone dumb enough or insane enough to not drop a weapon and keep walking towards a cop who has a gun pointed at u giving commands, to die.
My only criticism is he should have moved backwards and to the right before firing because the woman behind the one with the weapon could have easily been hit in the cross fire.

Ever see what one swing of a cleaver can do to a man? If the cop retreated and she hacked a bystander, there would be two dead people on his hands
Easily could have killed the witness though, good thing she had lots of bullet absorbing fat
Edit: just threw a cleaver 2 or 3 inches into a palm tree 15 feet away, 3rd try. Try it outBe a Cuck or get Cucked

You police lovers are just as bad as the police haters
police haters: everything police do is automatically excessive force no matter what actually happened
police lovers: everything police do is automatically 100% justified no matter what actually happened
Oh look it's a fat old grandma slowly hobbling towards me, better keep shooting her over and over until she's definitely dead. Whether this is legally justified or not, any person in their right mind should be able to realize that in this case it was a little bit excessive. And no I am not a police hater. Inb4 negs

You go outside with a meat cleaver what do you think is going to happen? If you call the police to report someone walking around with a meat cleaver what do you think is going to happen?

m8, everyone who's ever used a gun knows cop/soldiers/whatever are trained to shoot at the center of the mass (torso), unless you're a pro you can't really aim at limbs and expect it to hit everytime. however slowly that person apporaches you.
5 shots....mmmyeaaah 2-3 more shots more than I would've fired in his situation. adrenaline works wonders I guess.
though I would've fired a warning shot at first but you can't really haggle with someone who decides to come at you with a cleaver knowing full well they'd get filled with lead.*always pick 4 crew*
*conservative crew*
*son or coathanger crew*
*women shouldn't be allowed to vote crew*
*always tells the truth even if it hurts crew*

Brb being approached by a meat cleaver wielding, mentally unstable person
Brb better go hand to hand combat and disarm her
Cop shouldn't have to risk his life to appease the lives of people who don't have the courage to do his job.
Edit: also why does everyone think she has to be on top of him to hack away? If she threw the cleaver at him and it hit it could be a fatal wound or she could've then gotten on top and hacked away.PIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.
GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.
PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?
GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.
PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.
GANDALF: No. No, it isn't.

This again? It's funny how everyone is on the cop's side. Do you want to know why people are pissed that the lady was shot? Because it was unnecessary. She was walking at a snail's pace and the officer had other weapons to subdue her. Or have you guys forgotten that cops carry more than just a gun?
The main reason why people are pissed is because they hold cops to a higher standard, and expect them to keep calm in situations like these so they can analyze and respond in a just manner. THEY AREN'T YOUR EVERDAY FUKKING CITIZENS. They are the soldiers at home. And people expect them to act like it. If you have cops shooting people willy nilly at the slightest fear of their lives, then it affects the populace negatively.
1. They began to feel like the police aren't some entities that with stoic demeanours and who perform just actions. People need something to look up to. Having trigger happy cops leads to trigger happy people. Surprised common sense doesn't prevail
2. They began to feel oppressed. If someone can kill someone else at the slightest hint of danger, with no repercussions, but you were to be prosecuted to the fullest extent, than there is obviously a power imbalance in play. We usually accept power imbalances, when they are seen as necessary, i.e police officers remaining calm during all situations and not doing something stupid allows them to react properly. But if that person is just like you, and reacts the same way you would in all situations, but the only difference is that they're lawfully allowed to perform the action, then you naturally feel uneasy. It makes you feel that you can be dealt with in a similar manner for the smallest action. Why? Because ordinary people overreact all the fukken time. They just aren't armed with an arsenal of tools and weapons like officers are. You expect an officer to hold the moral highground and subdue you if you go off in a nonviolent way as everyone naturally does from time to time. Not fukkin stomp your face in.
I love how no one realizes that animosity towards cops who perform such unnecessary actions is justified. You all scream when Israel reacts in a way to Palestine that is over the top and uneven, but are sheep when the same thing occurs back home on a smaller scale. The latter does more harm to the structure of American society. But you fail to see it because 'merika. Lol at the lack of critical thinking skills

it's not a matter of love or hate. it's a matter of not caring that the police are killing the scum of the earth. so what some criminal/psycho gets pumped full of lead?
law-abiding and working class citizens don't face these kind of issues, so i couldn't care less if some homeless crackhead whale dies

Lol at thinking there weren't other ways to handle this situation.
Lol harder at thinking that someone suggesting not killing someone is the equivalent of suggesting the cop step within stabbing distance and try to disarm her.
Strong womanly "hate us cause we anus" argument (don't have the courage to do his job, fuk off *******), strong location, strong stats, strong everything.
